Dafa Practitioner Qiu Liying is in Critical Condition, Authorities at the Hedong Police Station Still Refuse to Release Her

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Qiu Liying from Shijiazhuang city has been on a hunger strike for over 40 days to protest her illegal detention. Her breathing and pulse have become very weak. Since May 22, Qiu Liying's muscles have been cramping, and her life is constantly in danger. Following the orders of his superiors, the director of the Hedong police station, Su Wenxing, still refuses to release her.

On April 13, 2004, six Dafa practitioners from Shijiazhuang City, including Huang Wei, Qiu Liying, Miao Jiantao, Zheng Hai, Xing Lihong, Zhuo Guibin were illegally arrested at work on Jianhua Street by Yang Yuliang and others from the Hedong police station. Huang Wei started his own business in order to support his family, and several other Dafa practitioners who did not have jobs because of the persecution joined to help run the business. Without following legal procedures, the police immediately arrested all of the people working at the company and looted items from the business. Next, the police searched the houses of Mr. and Mrs. Huang Wei's parents and confiscated their property, too. Six Dafa practitioners were illegally detained in the detention center for over 30 days, and then transferred and held at the Hedong police station. The police officers there added false accusations and trumped-up charges to their police record in an attempt to illegally sentence them to forced labor terms.

Police officer Yang Yuliang from Hedong police station illegally arrested the practitioners. Supervisors Su Wenxin, and XuTao of the Hedong police station were responsible for the case and the Changan branch police department was also involved. Police officers Jia and Li of the Changan branch legal section were involved in the illegal sentencing of this group of Dafa practitioners. The main instigators are Ma Wensheng and others from the of Shijiazhuang City police department political security brigade.
