Mr. Li Feng is from Qudi Village of Anguo City in the Baoding Area of Hebei Province. On October 14, 2002, Mr. Li was arrested for tapping into a closed-circuit television system in order to broadcast truth-clarification programming. He was unlawfully sentenced to fifteen years in prison and is being held in Beijiao Prison in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province.

On April 2, 2004, Suizhong police arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Hu Baochun. Officer Liu Shouyu took possession of Mr. Hu's motorcycle.

On May 31, Ms. Zeng Guiyun, in her fifties, was deceived and taken to the Jinzhou City Brainwashing Class.

On June 2, Mr. Zhang Lifeng, 47 years old, was abducted from his home and taken to the Jinzhou City Brainwashing Class.

On April 26, 2004, practitioner Zhao Tingjun was reported to the police for painting Falun Dafa signs (1). Zhao's whereabouts remain unknown after being taken from home by the police. On April 24, Ms. Zhang Cuihau, Zheng Daqin, and Ji Wenling were abducted from either their homes or the fields where they were working, and they were taken to a brainwashing class in Chifeng City. Meng Qingchao was also abducted the same day. Meng's whereabouts remain unknown.

Zhangjiakou City Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Fugui was abducted from home by officers on May 27 without just cause. Chen was released the next day, only to be taken away again on May 29, when officers ransacked Chen's home. Chen's whereabouts remain unknown.

Min Changchun, 30 years old, is from Zhongxiang, Hubei Province. On July 16, 2002, Min was arrested by the Qingdao Road Police Station in Wuhan City and subsequently taken to the Wuhan No. 2 Detention Center, then to the Taojialing Detention Center in Hanyang, and other facilities. Min suffered all kinds of inhumane treatment. In September 2002, Min was sentenced to four years in prison on charges of attempts to tap into closed-circuit television broadcasts. Min Changchun is being held at the No. 17 Division of Qinduankou Prison in Hanyang, Wuhan City, Hubei Province.

On the afternoon of May 21, 2004, Du Anrong, an officer of the Longquan Town Police Station in Longquan District, Chengdu City came to the Communications Equipment Company where practitioner Ms. Lin Mei works. Du tried to coerce Ms. Lin to give up practicing Falun Gong by not allowing her to leave after work was finished. Later, Li Hao, director of the Longquan "610 Office" (2), led other officers to the company to block the exit gate. The officers forcibly took Ms. Lin Mei away. The police have not notified Ms. Lin's family, nor have they followed any legal procedure whatsoever. Ms. Lin's whereabouts remain unknown.

The day before Ms. Lin's abduction, Ms. Li Fanglin, a retired worker from the Aerospace No. 303 Factory was arrested at her home by officers from the Longquan "610 Office."

Mr. Chen Guoxiang, in his fifties, is an employee of a gold mine. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000. He suffered various brutal tortures in Tuziji Forced Labor Camp for not giving up his belief. He was forcibly taken to a brainwashing class soon after his release from the labor camp in 2003. He remained committed to his belief and was sentenced to two more years of forced labor.

Mr. Wang Zhanxiang, in his thirties, is a teacher. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000. After being released in 2003, he faced further threats to make him give up his belief and was forced to leave his home and keep moving from place to place in order to avoid the persecution.

Mr. Wang Qinglin, in his fifties, was a laborer. He was sentenced to three years in prison for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000. After being held in the detention center for a year, he was transferred to a forced labor camp. Under the pressure of inhumane torture, he gave up practicing Falun Gong against his will.

Ms. Liu Yuxia, 41, was detained on November 6, 2003 when officers from the Dujiadi Police Station broke into her home and found two cassette tapes of Falun Gong exercise music. She was detained for one month. In March 2004, she was again taken away and this time sentenced to one year of forced labor. Ms. Liu is being held at the Wengniute Prefecture Detention Center.

Mr. Liu Tiemin, born in 1970, graduated from Inner Mongolia University. On August 21, 2002, Mr. Liu was sent to the Legal Education Base (public name of the brainwashing center) in Chifeng City for practicing Falun Gong. He was released on September 3 after he was forced to give up practicing Falun Gong against his will.

On August 3, 2003, the security section of Chifeng Railroad Maintenance Section forcibly sent Mr. Liu to Anding Hospital in Chifeng City, which is also known as Veteran's Mental Hospital or the Legal Authentication Facility of Mental Illness in Eastern Inner Mongolia. In the hospital, Mr. Liu was tied to a bed and tortured with "treatment equipment" similar to an electric baton. Although he was of sound mind, the doctors forced him to take large quantities of unspecified drugs.

Xie Jinyuan is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Lianyu Township, Qidong County, Hunan Province. Xie was unlawfully arrested on February 19, 2004 and held at the county detention center. Around 4:00 p.m. on March 11, the police interrogated Xie for the source of Falun Gong materials. Failing to extract any information, they brutally beat Xie with foot-long wooden clubs, leaving injuries all over Xie's body. The torture went on for more than an hour before Xie was sent back to the cell. On May 10, Xie Jinyuan was sent to the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, serving a year of forced labor.

Ms. Tan Cuixiu is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Jiangjiaqiao Town, Qidong County, Hunan Province. On August 6, 2003, officers took her from the Jiangjiaqiao Police Station to the county detention center. Police officers tortured her so brutally that her face was misshapen. Her mouth could not close evenly, and she had difficulty chewing food. On November 7, 2003, Ms. Tan was sent to the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City for one year of forced labor. However, during the physical examination, Ms. Tan was found to have heart problems, so the labor camp refused to admit her. Qidong County police have continued to hold her in custody at the county detention center for further abuse.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Fei Xuelong is a teacher in the city's agricultural school in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. On May 13, the police called him in for a talk. He refused to cooperate with their unreasonable interrogation and was severely beaten. He is being unlawfully held at the Hongta District Detention Center, where he is constantly tortured during interrogations.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Yuping, about 40 years old, lives near Chang'an in the Dadong district of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. She was arrested while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. She is being unlawfully held at the Gujiazi Detention Center.

Around 10:00 a.m. on June 2, 2004, Yin Junying, member of the Ling County "610 Office" in Dezhou area, and Liu Shijie, head of the Political Security Section at the Ling County Police Department, arrived in police cars to abduct Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Guilan, in her fifties, from her home. That afternoon, they also abducted Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Aiguo from his home.

On May 28, 2004, Ms. Li Suqin and two other Falun Dafa practitioners at Santan Village in Zhengkou Town were turned in to the police by informants. Police officers Shao Li, Zhai Hongjun and others from the Gucheng County Police Department arrested the three practitioners.

Late at night on May 12, 2004, two Falun Dafa practitioners in Gucheng Town, Gucheng County, Hubei Province, Mr. Yuan Shuchen, 61, and his wife Ms. Ye Yanfen, 57, went to Lilao Township to post Falun Dafa truth-clarifying signs and to display banners. Zhang Wenqing and another policeman of the Lilao Township Police Station in Gucheng County arrested the couple and ransacked their home. Wang Jianmin, head of the police station, authorized the handover of the couple to the county police department for interrogation. The couple was then sent to the Gucheng County Detention Center for persecution.

Quan Peijun is a Falun Dafa practitioner at Shangjie Aluminum Factory in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Quan was unlawfully sentenced to a year of forced labor at the beginning of 2001. The term was extended by one half year because Quan protested against the persecution while in the labor camp. After the extended term was completed, corrupt officials of the aluminum factory conspired with members of the Zhengzhou City "610 Office" to send Quan to Wanqingshanzhuang in Zhengzhou for brainwashing.

Around 5:00 p.m. on May 19, 2004, police from Fushun and Qingyuan arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Yu Shiquan, a taxi driver at the Hongoushan Mine in Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Yu was waiting for passengers in the taxi when the police took him to the Hongtoushan Mine Police Station, and confiscated his taxi. At 6:00 p.m., three police officers ransacked Mr. Yu's home. Mr. Yu was forcibly sent to a detention center in Fushun City the following day.

On June 1, Yueyang City Falun Dafa practitioners Zhou Weihong, Zhou Fufang, Zhou Aimei, and Jian Yongchun were arrested while clarifying the truth in Yuehua, Hunan Province. Falun Dafa practitioner Long Bingfeng of the Yueyang Paper Group Company was arrested at 6:00 p.m. on June 2 when leaving work. The five practitioners are now being unlawfully held at the Yunxi Detention Center in Yueyang.

On May 29, Falun Dafa practitioners Liu Dan and spouse were arrested in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province by local police, while they were clarifying the truth there.
