(Clearwisdom.net) Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong and Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai visited South Africa from June 27-29. Falun Gong practitioners who went to appeal against these Chinese officials' persecution of Falun Gong in China were shot at by gunmen at around 8:30 p.m. on June 28. At least five shots hit their car. Mr. David Liang, the driver, was hit in both feet. He was the only Falun Gong practitioner who was wearing a jacket with "Falun Dafa" written on it. There is evidence to indicate that this case might be yet another act of state terrorism by Jiang's group against Falun Gong practitioners.

Zeng Qinghong, Bo Xilai and a few other high-ranking China officials who are also involved in Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong have had quite a few lawsuits filed against them by overseas Falun Gong practitioners during their visits to foreign countries. This time, Mr. David Liang and other overseas Falun Gong practitioners went to South Africa and planned to file a lawsuit against Zeng and Bo. Ruthless government officials such as Zeng and Bo often abuse power in China, then travel abroad and show off overseas. They were of course fearful of the legal cases against them, and they were also furious.

In China, Zeng and Bo have the power to order police and special agents from the National Security Department to arrest people at will in the name of "law enforcement" or "national security." Under their manipulation, they have the courts and judges put people in jail at will, and in the name of the law. On June 10, 1999, Jiang's regime established "610 Offices" (1) to persecute Falun Gong while bypassing China's judiciary mechanisms. During the past five years, "610 Offices" have had absolute power over existing laws. They have recklessly persecuted and brutally killed innocent Falun Gong practitioners. The "610 Office" is very much like the Nazi's Gestapo, and Jiang's regime is a group of highly corrupt politicians who are bent on state terrorism.

In democratic countries around the world, Jiang and his accomplices find it much harder to carry out their persecution. These kinds of countries, where there really is a sense of justice, are not places where a few officials can pull all of the strings necessary to do whatever they wish. Western countries have strict legal systems. Jiang and his followers have yet dared to murder practitioners in public. Is it unreasonable then to suggest, that in order to vent their hatred, these terrorists would decide to hire gunmen to shoot practitioners in South Africa, a place where public safety is questionable? However, this act will only add to their criminal records, and help the international community see more clearly the fact that these are corrupt politicians implementing state terrorism.

When Bo Xilai was governor of Liaoning Province in China, he ordered the arrest of journalist Jiang Weiping, who exposed his corruption, and had him sentenced to nine years in prison. Bo was notorious for this kind of behavior. Zeng Qinghong, a henchman of Jiang Zemin, has been in charge of special agents in the Chinese Communist Party. In the political movement to persecute Falun Gong, both Bo and Zeng's hands are stained with the blood of innocent Falun Dafa practitioners. They are the real criminals bent on suppressing others. These political scoundrels, who rule through terror, will definitely be punished by the law and by heavenly principles in the future.
