Each Chance is Precious
By a Chinese practitioner
(Clearwisdom.net) When I got on the bus and steadied myself, I was kicked
hard in the leg. As I was wondering what had happened, an older man beside me
said: "I'm sorry. Somebody stepped on my foot. When I lifted my foot, I kicked
you accidentally." I hastened to say: "Don't worry. Don't worry. You didn't
kick me for no reason, right?" He looked at me with his eyes wide open. I told
him close to his ear: "This is forming our karmic relationship." Then I gave
him a booklet about Falun Dafa and told him that he would benefit from it when
he read it. He was quite happy and thanked me several times.
Soon the bus arrived at a stop and the man got off. His wife followed him
off the bus, and I got off the bus too. Watching them walking away, I was
happy: "Two more people got the chance to know Falun Dafa."
It may not be worthy mentioning, but something happened that night which
shook me and made me reflect. My shoes were damaged, and as I was fixing them
on the first floor of a building, a young man wanted to enter the building
while pushing his motorbike. I moved out of the way to let him pass and I knew
that he came to visit somebody there. Then he put his motorbike down and I
continued to fix my shoes. After I got home, I found there were
truth-clarifying materials in my pocket: why didn't I give him one? I passed
over a chance to establish a karmic relationship with him. I felt much regret.
If my thoughts were always on following the Fa, this would not have
happened. In Mainland China, the people with predestined relationships come up
to us, and there aren't very many chances like this. I treated these two
incidents differently, which means that my Fa study is not steady. Each chance
is precious for them and us; I cannot let this kind of thing happen anymore.
