Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained in the Chishan Prison in Hunan Province Validate Dafa with Their Words and Actions

(Clearwisdon.net) Falun Dafa practitioners who have been illegally held at the Chishan Prison have validated the beauty of Dafa and exposed the lies fabricated by Jiang's regime with their words and actions. Their efforts have changed the police guards and the criminals of the prison who were poisoned by the lies. They went from being hostile toward Falun Gong practitioners to now relying on and completely accepting Falun Gong practitioners.

Chishan Prison in Hunan Province has locked up more than 2,000 criminals for all kinds of crimes including murder, robbery, drug trafficking, drug abuse, theft, and rape. Dozens of Falun Dafa practitioners have been detained there for several years already. Around 2001, when Falun Gong practitioners first arrived at the prison, the criminals and the police guards alike were all hostile toward the practitioners due to the propaganda and fabricated lies they had been subjected to.

After clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa to the criminals and the guards over a long period of time, and most importantly, by displaying the fine moral qualities of compassion, honesty, and selflessness, the Falun Gong practitioners proved in their daily lives to live up to "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." Eventually, almost all of the criminals and guards have come to the same opinion that Falun Dafa practitioners are the best people in the world as well as the most reliable. Even the few very crooked guards have had to admit it. In the eyes of the criminals, Falun Dafa practitioners have become the embodiment and the synonym for honesty, kindness, justice, and strong will.

Once when a practitioner walked across the basketball court, a criminal said casually, "You are a good man because you cultivate your inner self and nurture your nature." Just at that time there was a group of criminals from another ward gathering there to play basketball. They did not know the practitioner, but after they heard the remarks they said to one after another, "This is a Falun Dafa practitioner!" "Today only Falun Dafa practitioners cultivate their inner selves!"

One day a criminal was occupied with something and could not go shopping at the prison shop, so he handed his "Daily Expenses Card" (1) to a Falun Gong practitioner and asked the practitioner to purchase some things for him. The practitioner told him, "When we Dafa practitioners go to the shop to buy things there are a lot of restrictions on us. We have to submit an application and get approved by the guards. Can't you ask someone else to help you?" The criminal said to the practitioner in a soft voice, "I have over several hundred dollars on the card. I'll can tell you honestly that I don't trust the other inmates. I only trust you Falun Gong practitioners. It's true! No matter how much money I have in my card, I know you guys will not take a penny from me."

Cases like this are countless.

On certain occasions, Falun Dafa practitioners have become the criteria for judging the truth, and right from wrong, when the criminals have conflicts among themselves or with the guards. They would say, "If you don't believe me, you can go ask Dafa practitioner so and so. He saw it with his own eyes and he will not tell lies!"

On one stormy night, criminals from two different cells were contending for a piece of cardboard to cover the broken windows. Actually, they were both given two identical pieces of cardboard for each cell. However, the criminals in one cell had accidentally lost their cardboard and they suspected that the criminals in the other cell took it. They invited a Dafa practitioner to judge the case. The practitioner explained his thoughts about the conflict and both sides came to a sincere agreement. Of course, normally Dafa practitioners will not get themselves involved in these types of matters, but in this instance it was appropriate.

As a matter of fact, a Dafa practitioner who cultivates himself is innocent and should not be imprisoned at all. If the Dafa practitioners can reach the next level in Fa-rectification cultivation, that is, continue to look inward and completely deny and step out of the persecution, it would be even better.

(1) "Daily Expenses Card" -- The detainees in the prison are not allowed to have cash. They have to deposit the money into a prison system called the "Daily Expenses Card." If they need to buy any daily necessities they can only buy from the prison shops using this card. The prison shops sell the poor quality goods at a much higher price.
