Stories of Karmic Retribution: A Police Chief Dies in an Auto Accident

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Qi Zhiwu was the head of Xijiataoxiang Town police station, Guzhiqu District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. He was about 40 years old. He closely followed Jiang Zemin's gang of hooligans to persecute Dafa practitioners. He kidnapped local Dafa practitioners to brainwashing classes, to detention centers, and to forced labor camps. After 9 pm on February 27, 2004, when he was in a vehicle stopped by the roadside, he was hit by another vehicle driven by three drunks. He died as he met with the karmic retribution he brought to himself through his wrongdoings.

Gao Derong was a policeman at Xinmin railroad police station, Shenyang City. He was in his 40's. In the summer of 2002, for money and promotion, he persecuted Dafa practitioners in the work place. He searched about and gathered Dafa practitioners' whereabouts, ignoring others' advice. One time he stabbed his brother-in-law with his police knife while his sister was quarreling with her husband, seriously wounding his brother-in-law. His brother-in-law sought a large amount of compensation afterwards. One morning, after drinking a bottle of liquor, the car he was driving was hit by an express train at the Xinmin train station. Gao died in the accident.

Li Zhizhong is a policeman in his 50's from the Yushulinzi Township police station, Jianping County, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. He was against Dafa and had defamed Master Li since July 20, 1999. He acted as an accomplice of Jiang's regime. He went through villages and pressured families to gather information and to provide the information for persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners. He often led the police to the homes of villagers Lin Zhiping, Zhang Yuzhin and many other Dafa practitioners to illegally search and abduct them. He forced practitioners to attend brainwashing programs. The whole mountain village was terrorized. Because of the persecution by Li Zhizhong and other police, some Dafa practitioner's families were broken up. Some Dafa practitioners left home to avoid further persecution and some were detained with their family ruined and their possessions lost.

The evil deeds of this man were met with karmic retribution. On the 26^th day of the 10^th month of the Lunar calendar, Li Zhizhong was helping his brother-in-law (a villager of Xiayaogou) with his wedding. When it was about noon, the bridal chamber caught fire. The bride Yang Hong was burned to death on the spot and Li Zhizhong's daughter-in-law was burned seriously and became disabled. Li Zhizhong was also hospitalized with burn injuries. This event shocked the neighboring villages and townships. Villagers all said that Li Zhizhong received karmic retribution because of his persecution against Dafa practitioners, and he also brought disaster to his family.

Afterward, Li Zhizhong showed no regret for his evil deeds and showed no changes. After returning to work he kept on persecuting Dafa. Disaster again fell on him and his family. One year later on the same day of the same month (Lunar Calendar the 26^th day of the 10^th month, 2002), Li Zhizhong crashed into a Pedi cab while he was riding a motorcycle; he had serious bone fractures and was hospitalized again. During the Spring Festival of 2003, his wife and son caught an illness and were hospitalized. One person committed evil deeds and his whole family met disaster afterward.

Wu Qing was the former secretary of the Politics and Law Committee of Yushulinzi Township, Jianping County, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. He was 47 years old. Since July 20, 1999 He directed and planned persecution against Dafa and Dafa practitioners following Jiang's regime, in order to obtain political favors. He met with karmic retribution. He caught liver cancer and died on January 11, 2003. His wife was sentenced to imprisonment for serious medical malpractice in her medial career. She was bailed out after paying a large amount of money.
