Practitioner Shu Zusi Was Tortured to Death in Tongcheng County, Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.Net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Shu Zusi has been living in Shangkuotian, Tongcheng County, Hubei Province. One day in July 2000, he was taken away to prison by local policemen and suffered brutal tortures there. He was released a few days later, and soon thereafter he died from a heavy wound inflicted during the torture.

It began on a day in July 2000 when Shu Zusi was working in his farm field. Suddenly a vehicle came towards him. A few persons jumped from the vehicle and took Shu Zusi away without any legal basis. Then Shu Zusi was placed in prison on the trumped up charge of "disturbing social security." Policemen kept torturing Shu Zusi during the interrogation until he was on the verge of death. In order to shirk their responsibilities, they sent Shu Zusi home. A few days later he died from the serious wounds that were inflicted.
