The International Community Must Admonish the Jiang Clique's Terrorist Acts

(Clearwisdom.net) Disconcerting news published on June 28 indicated that during Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong and Commerce Minister Bo Xilai's visit to South Africa, Falun Gong practitioners were shot while en route to stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China using legal venues. This is the most severe act of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners outside of China during the five-year persecution. It is also the first overseas murder attempt perpetrated by the Jiang-Zeng regime. Although unsuccessful, such an act, under the umbrella of a conspiracy, has greatly shocked the righteous people of the world.

In the past five years, Jiang's clique has availed itself of all kinds of methods, including lies and deception, to cover-up and deny the existence of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They have continued their relentless harassment of overseas practitioners, which includes illegally spying, making slanderous remarks, compiling blacklists, and confiscating passports. Some practitioners received mail containing threats on their lives, with a bullet inside the envelope. This recent case of hired murders is the most serious to date.

In the global fight against terrorism, Jiang's clique has played an ugly hand, and disguised the real intent behind its support of anti-terrorism. People should not have difficulties discerning that cruel torture of hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners and the murder of over a thousand is perpetrated by the largest terrorist gang in the world. Without trying to hide its intent, this premeditated assassination attempt by hired gunmen has exposed the Jiang regime's real nature before international society.

As we reflect more deeply on this incident, we all will feel indignant. It's not difficult to imagine that a degenerated regime, being controlled by a gang, would stoop so low. They will align with organized crime to deal with a group of peaceful and gentle citizens. What has this government become? What harm will it bring to the citizens of this country and to the world's society?

This incident of the hired murderers should be looked upon as a serious crisis for China and the entire international community. Amidst the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang's clique, a few individuals amassed public power into their hands. This power is lethal, as it has degenerated human thinking and developed into organized crime. This has become the butcher's knife of a dictator. Society is faced with constant terror and crisis in every corner of the land. It will bring serious misery to its citizens. The function of a modern public authority is to serve it citizens. Its legal foundation must be built on morality, justice, and economical resources to effectively serve in this capacity. Once the authority of a government is manipulated, and has degenerated and become an organized crime syndicate, its public function will collapse. Its legal, moral, and economical foundations will most likely face total collapse. If there are still people within the Chinese government who can sit in true judgment and show concern for the citizens of their country, they must immediately stop this exploitation of power and continued degeneration. They must end the persecution of Falun Gong orchestrated by Jiang's clique.

An incident such as this murder attempt, perpetrated in the capital of a free country, is a serious challenge to the system and principles of a free society. Just one month ago, in his speech to the Congress, Nelson Mandela, the President of South Africa, and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, stated that the first Article of the Constitution is the pledge to defend human dignity. He hopes that all South Africans treasure this as the country's democratic cornerstone. Under the guidance of this principle, all people of all races in South Africa should cooperate. He continued by saying that they should embrace this human principle, and practice it in an open and free society. But Zeng Qinghong, as a visitor, hired murderers! Isn't this the deepest disregard of the most treasured principle? Is it not a blatant challenge and threat to human dignity? Isn't this an insult to all people who love and defend freedom, and who truly fight against terrorism? Therefore, the international community should send a message of condemnation to the Jiang-Zeng circle for violating international principles of conduct. We hope that the South African authorities will not succumb to the Jiang-Zeng circle's whims, under the influence of economic incentives. We hope that South African authorities will carry out the investigation fairly, and bring justice to the murderers and the behind the scene accomplices under the law.

If the international community still doesn't understand that the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Jiang-Zeng clique during the past five years is a sort of state terrorism, then this for-hire murder attempt should be an eye-opener to people. This incident should give them an awareness of the severity of the persecution. If any country regards the persecution of Falun Gong as separate from themselves, and having nothing to do with them, then they should see clearly now the true nature of the problem. They should recognize this as Jiang-Zeng's exportation of criminal violence to the free world. That is to say, ignoring persecution of kind and helpless people by the evil is accommodating the evil. And they themselves will eventually have to suffer the consequences.

The hiring of murderers by the Jiang-Zeng clique in South Africa may be related to silencing the international community and exploiting the weaknesses in a country's internal affairs. Those countries that fall prey to the Jiang regime's economic handouts and lies, so as to avoid human rights condemnation, those countries that don't speak out for human rights, are in fact indirectly perpetrating further evil. If we continue to tolerate and abet evil, we will pay a higher price later. All righteous governments and kind people, please stand up and condemn the cruelty and shamelessness of the Jiang regime's acts. Stop the continued perpetration of state terrorism and persecution of Falun Gong.

We firmly believe that whether this attempted murder is an act of desperation or an attempt to stop Falun Gong practitioners from pursuing legal means against the Jiang-Zeng clique, it cannot be sustained. It's a mistake to think that any evil plot against righteous people who live by righteous actions can succeed. On the contrary, those who perpetrate evil against those of high principles will receive due punishment. The greater the evil one perpetrates, the more one has to pay back.
