(Clearwisdom.net) At the end of February 2004, perpetrators abducted a whole family of practitioners in Zhoukou City, Henan province. Mr. Song Zhenlin, his wife Ms. Wang Guijin, and their 4-year-old child were all taken away. The wife was released after it was realized she was pregnant. A while later, Zhoukou City "610 Office" (1) ordered police to arrest her again. Her friends and relatives are also being persecuted in various ways. Details of their story follow.

Around the end of February 2004, the local truth clarification material production site was destroyed. Practitioners Mr. Song Zhenlin, his wife Ms. Wang Guijin, and their 4-year-old child were abducted in Chancheng County. The couple was detained at Huaiyang County Detention Center while the 4-year-old was sent to stay with his over 70-year-old grandmother. Song Zhenlin and Wang Guijin went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. After fifteen days of hunger strike, the perpetrators tortured the couple with brutal force-feeding. Wang Guijin was found to be several months pregnant during a physical checkup in the detention center. China's constitution forbids detention of a pregnant woman or a mother breastfeeding. The police had to release her.

While having nowhere to live on her own, Wang Guijin had to go to her parent's home and lived with her father. Huaiyang County National Security Team reported her to the Provincial and City "610 Office" and got an order to immediately detain her. When the National Security police went to arrest her, she was nowhere to be found. They went to relatives and friends homes looking for her. Still having no clue of Wang Guijin's whereabouts, the police detained her brother and father as hostages. They blatantly claimed, "If we still cannot find Wang Guijin, you two will never be let go."

On April 30, under the perpetrators' pressure and threats, her husband's sister-in-law had to find Wang Guijin. The perpetrators detained the pregnant Wang Guijin, openly violating the nation's law. Wang Guijin's father refused to follow the perpetrators' order to curse others. For this, the kindhearted elderly man is still being detained. The perpetrators fabricated charges and accused Wang's brother-in-law of lying to the authorities, and then detained him for fifteen days. They extorted money from him before releasing him.

After all this, the County National Security Team did not stop. They started to persecute Wang Guijin's relatives and friends, illegal sentencing, fining and arresting them. Everywhere they went the people call them "thugs."

(1) "610 Office" - an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
