Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Meng Qingxia from Nongan County, Jilin Province Dies as a Result of the Persecution


(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Meng Qingxia was a 40-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Changshengling, Shaoguo Village, Baojia Town, Nongan County, Jilin Province. On January 13, 2000 of the lunar calendar (the traditional Chinese calendar), she was illegally arrested by Baojia Police Station and detained in Nongan County Detention Center. She was not released until she was extorted out of 1000 Yuan. On August 3, 2002, the police station officers went to her home to conduct a search. They attempted to arrest her after they found Falun Dafa books, so she had to escape from home. Several months later, Meng Qingxia came back to harvest crops, but was arrested again at about 9:00 p.m. on November 1 by the police. She was sent to Changchun City Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. During the detention, as she remained firm in her belief, the torture made her so weak that she was skin and bones. On November 11, 2003, she was sent back home. She was never able to recover and passed away on April 1, 2004.
