Germany: Practitioners Hold an Anti-Torture Photo Exhibition in Front of the Chinese Consulate in Bonn (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20th, a group of German Falun Gong practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese consulate in Bonn. They displayed pictures of nine torture methods that Chinese police use to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China, photos and a list of Falun Gong practitioners who have been persecuted to death in China, and some banners reading "Over a thousand Falun Gong practitioners persecuted to death in five years". They performed the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and also sent forth righteous thoughts every hour.

The weather was very unusual. In the early morning at about six o'clock, while I was sending righteous thoughts, the sky looked blue and cloudless. About nine o'clock when I had to head for the Chinese consulate, the dark clouds densely covered the sky. It drizzled at the beginning, and then there was a downpour shortly afterwards. Everybody came to the Chinese consulate with rainwear, we set up our display boards, tables and banners in spite of the rain. Rainwater on the street was also splashing on to the display boards from time to time. After sending forth righteous thoughts and doing the exercises, the rain stopped. Everybody continued to send forth righteous thoughts sharply at the top of every hour, we also performed the exercises and held the banners in turn. At about two or three o'clock in the afternoon, the sun came out from the thick clouds. One hour later, the dark clouds in the sky disappeared totally and the sunlight shone everywhere.

In the afternoon, a door on the second floor of the consulate building opened, a person came out and looked at us cautiously, and there were some other people in the room as well. It seemed our sitting in meditation and our banners touched their hearts. We really hope they all could think deeply regarding what's happening in China.

Actually there were not many passers-by in front the consulate. However, a Chinese man came out from the Chinese consulate, saw our displays and walked straight towards us. He talked with practitioners for a long time and learned the truth. He took many truth materials and VCDs and said goodbye to every practitioner when he left. There was also a middle-aged German lady, who after reading our petition on the banners, told us that the German Foreign Minister, Mr. Fischer, had expressed concerns about the human rights problems in China on his recent visit to China. There were many fast-driving cars passing by the Chinese consulate, they usually slowed down and read our banners and watched our exercises carefully. They were happy to receive our truth-clarifying flyers when stopped at the traffic lights. Our banners and the peaceful Falun Gong exercise demonstration also attracted many bus passengers' attention, even though they could not get our information materials.
