Karmic Retribution: "Beating Is Routine," Admits the Head of Panjin City's State Security Bureau When His Own Son is Abused in Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Xuechang is the head of the Panjin City State Security Bureau of Liaoning Province. His son, a policeman in Panjin City, was arrested in January 2003 for his involvement with organized crime. He was sentenced to a 2-year prison term, which was later extended to 3 years. Wang is very angry at the sentencing of his son. He suspects that his son was beaten in prison and forced to confess, and that the authorities sentenced him unjustly when he could no longer endure the beating.

Some questioned him, "You are the head of the Panjin City State Security Bureau, and your son is a policeman, who would dare to beat him?"

Wang Xuechang replied, "Beating is routine during police interrogation. There was no video monitor, no witnesses, so the beatings are always counted as naught." Then someone asked him again, "You feel grieved because your son was beaten. In 2001, you ordered the police to monitor and arrest over 20 Falun Dafa practitioners. They are all good people who are being detained, beaten, and sentenced to labor camps. What is your feeling towards that?"

Wang did not say a word, and quickly broke off the conversation.
