Dafa Practitioner Xie Junxiao Tortured to the Brink of Death; "610 Office" Orders Him Sent Back to Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Mr. Xie Junxiao is a 34-year-old villager from Beitun Village, Liulintun Township, Luancheng County in Hebei Province. In December 2001 Falun Gong truth-clarifying banners were found in Luancheng County. Yang Weidong, the chief of the county "610 Office" (1) arrested practitioners of this county, which led to illegal prison sentences, forced labor camp sentences and detention for many practitioners. Xie Junxiao was among them.

On January 25, 2002, Liulintun Police arrested Xie Junxiao and tortured him using several methods, including one called "cuffed and hung up"(2). Three days later, he was sent to the county detention center. He was kicked in the chest and one of his ribs was fractured. On February 13, 2002, he was released on bail, but was abducted to the detention center again on April 14, 2002 (of the lunar calendar). During his detention, he was often brutally beaten and his lower ribs were also fractured from the beatings. To torture him, the inmates urinated on his face, applied irritating drugs, garlic and hot chilli to his penis. They filled a small bottle with water, injected the water into his right ear, and put ants both in his ear and on his body. They also force-fed him with an inch-wide tube, and inserted it into his stomach repeatedly to intentionally cause pain. The tube was white when it was inserted, but it was red when taken out. It was too horrible to witness. Later he was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment. On January 16, he was sent to Tangshan City Jidong Prison, and by this time he had become extremely weak from the torture.

Due to suffering such inhuman torture for a very long time, and under both mental and physical persecution, Xie Junxiao's health deteriorated. He was diagnosed by three hospitals in Tangshan City with acute leukaemia and gallstones. When he was on the brink of death, he was sent back home by the guards of Jidong Prison in mid-September 2003. When he arrived at home he was emaciated and his face looked very pale. The guard said to the Beitun Village officials in Linliutun Township, "The doctor said that he can live for no longer than 15 days. His bone marrow is unable to produce blood."

After returning home, Xie Junxiao diligently practiced Falun Dafa. Gradually, a man whose life expectancy as diagnosed by three hospitals was only 15 days, miraculously recovered!

In the beginning of June, Jidong Prison sent people to see Xie Junxiao. Seeing that he was still unwell, and that his left leg was still crippled from being beaten, they decided to extend his bail term for a year, and asked his family members to confirm this in writing. All the officials in the village, township and police department agreed; however on the next day, the guards from Jidong Prison returned and said, "Yang Weidong, the chief of your county "610 Office" did not agree, saying that the diagnosis was a mistake. He ordered the officials of Jidong Prison to put Xie away."

Notes

(1) The "610 Office" is an agency specifically established to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.

(2) Cuffed and hung up: With both hands cuffed, both feet off or only toes touching the ground, one is hung onto a basketball support or the beam of a house with the handcuffs. The hands and arms will soon become paresthetic and numb.
