Ms. Wang Yanping and Ms. Zhai Cuixia are Falun Dafa practitioners from Bajia Township in Yuanbaoshan Town, Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng City. Officers from the township police station arrested them in late April 2004, and they are being held at the Pingzhuang Detention Center. As of June 1, 2004, the two practitioners had been on hunger strikes for over thirty days.

Mr. Zhang Guoping is a Falun Dafa practitioner at the Agriculture Bank in Weifang City's Development Zone. On June 9, 2004, Secretary Wang, of the Party Disciplinary Committee, instructed an electrician at the bank, Zhu, to trick Mr. Zhang into coming to the bank. Wang had previously conspired with members of the "610 Office"(1), so when Mr. Zhang arrived, they forced him into a brainwashing class in the Industrial Cadres School in Weifang City. Zhang's family went to see Luan, President of the Agriculture Bank, who had acknowledged that Zhang was being held in the brainwashing center. When the family members tried to reason with him, Luan said, "I'm the bank president, and I have to listen to what the Party says." He also claimed that the bank had paid 5,000 yuan(2) [presumably for room and board], and that this was to be deducted from Zhang's salary.

Ms. Liu Dianqin was sentenced to forced labor in 2002. As the term of her sentence was about to expire, she was still unable to walk on her own as a result of abuses at the No. 6 Brigade of the camp. She was not released when her term expired. Instead, her term was extended.

Ms. Su, in her thirties, has developed heart problems as a result of persecution in the forced labor camp. Her term was also extended, and she remains there past the expiration of her sentence.

Ms. Fu Qingzhen and Ms. Zhao Junfang are Falun Dafa practitioners in Xiliu Village, Xiliu Town, Haicheng City. On November 11, 2003, informants saw them distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials and turned them in to the police. They were initially held at the Haicheng Detention Center and later sentenced to prison by the Haicheng Court. Ms. Fu and Ms. Zhao are to serve three and four-year terms, respectively. They have been transferred to Pingluo Prison in Liaoning Province.

Falun Dafa practitioner Lu Yuanjian lived in Group No.2 of Shiyang Village in Tongnan County. In February 2003, Lu was sent to Xishanping Forced Labor Camp and was on the verge of death as a result of police brutality in Brigade No.7. An injury to Zhang's head left a scar that required ten stitches. On April 14, 2004, a police officer named Zhang Liang took Lu back to Tongnan. Lu was held in the Tongnan Detention Center and Lu's family was never notified of his death.

Liu Guanghai is the head of the Out-patient Clinic at Tongnan County Hospital. He was the designated doctor for the detention center. Since July 20, 1999, Liu has been directly engaged in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners who go on hunger strikes. Zhang Yanming is a senior in the Information Technology Institute of the August 1^st Farm Reclamation University. Several days ago, Zhang gave a CD containing Falun Gong truth-clarifying material to Liu Guiyang, a teacher in the institute. Liu, in turn, gave the CD to Gao Feng, Party Secretary of the institute. Gao instigated Ren Shouhua, one of Zhang Yanming's teachers, to trick Zhang into coming to Gao's office. Officers Qian and Shan from the University Police Station were already waiting there for Zhang. Zhang still remains in custody at the university.

Falun Dafa practitioner Sun Biao was an employee of the Huanggang City Water Plant. In October 1999, Sun went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and has been missing ever since.

On the morning of June 10, 2004, the Jingyuan Police Station affiliated with the Weihai City "610 Office," sent half a dozen police officers to break into Ms. Gao Xiugui's home. Ms. Gao, 72, is a retired teacher. After first threatening her, the officers sent her to the Weihai Detention Center.

That afternoon, several police officers from the Zhudao Police Station arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Huazhen, who was cooking at her home located in the Zhongxin building. The officers also threatened Ms. Li's husband and demanded cash. The next day, Ms. Gao Xiugui, Ms. Li Huazhen and another Falun Dafa practitioner were sent to the Wangcun Brainwashing Center located in Zibo City.

Changsha City Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Xiang Yanhui, 65, and Ms. Fu Meixiang, 45, were arrested on the evening of June 2, 2004 while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Currently Ms. Xiang is being held at the Changsha City No.1 Detention Center, and Ms. Fu's whereabouts remain unknown.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Xiuyun, in her fifties, is a retired kindergarten teacher. The police took her away on June 3, 2004. She is being held at Weihui City Detention Center.
