During the morning of July 13, 2004, a dozen people from Wuhan City's Yangyuan Brainwashing Class and the Wofo Residential Committee, as well as policeman Hao from Wuchang District's Ziyang Street Police Precinct, went to practitioner Ms. Feng Lianhua's house. Ms. Feng is around 40 years old. They deceived Ms. Feng into coming to the residential committee building, then locked her up on the third floor and verbally abused her, without allowing Ms. Feng to speak on her own behalf. They wrote a long document slandering Dafa and then forced Ms. Feng to sign the paper. They also tried to force Ms. Feng to give up Falun Gong practice. Prior to this incident, personnel from the police precinct and residential committee have come to Feng Lianhua's place many times attempting to send her to the brainwashing center, but Ms. Fend has resolutely refused.

More than 40 practitioners are being detained at Tangshan City's Hehuakeng Labor Camp. Half of them were persecuted in a "restricted class." Practitioners were forced to sit on a little stool (a torture device) every day, and some have been forced to sit this way for almost a year.

On July 12, 2004, two police officers from Handan City were re-assigned to the labor camp to take part in forcing practitioners to give up their beliefs. Those practitioners who did not give up were deprived of sleep for long periods of time. The officials persecuting the practitioners include Ai Zhenming, the instructor who is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong, Li Weiping, a team leader, and six other team leaders. Right now the police do not answer phone calls from practitioners outside, and they have blocked internal information of the incident.

In the beginning of July 2004, a Dafa materials production center was destroyed in Tangshan City and a dozen practitioners including Liu Hui, Luo Zhijian, and Cao [given name not known] were arrested. Some are still in a detention center, and between 10 and 20 of these practitioners were sent to the Tangshan Reformation School. The police have force-fed those practitioners who held hunger strikes and deprive practitioners of sleep. The police persecutors have not notified practitioners' families even though the practitioners have been detained for over ten days. This is a violation of the Chinese Constitution.

It was recently reported that more than twenty practitioners from Anshan City, who were arrested around July 20, 2004, are being held in Anshan City's No. 3 Detention Center. Without following any due legal procedures, the police authorities sentenced Ms. Yong Fang, Ms. Shen Zhenlan, Ms. Wang Xiufen, Han Yuqing, Yang Yanjie, Wang Suqing, and Liang Li to prison. It is said that these practitioners will be sent to the Shenyang City Prison Complex and to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp next Wednesday.

At around 10:00 a.m. on the morning of July 13, 2004, policeman Wang Shouliang from the Political & Security Section of the Quanyang Forestry Police Department, who has arrested many practitioners, led a group of policemen to break into practitioner Wang Zhiping's home. Upon entering the home, they put handcuffs on Wang Zhiping and confiscated many Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Because Wang Zhiping didn't cooperate with their unlawful arrest, the police carried Wang Zhiping, put him into a police car, and sent him to Fusong County's Detention Center.

Wang Zhiping is still on a hunger strike and presently has symptoms of heart problems.

At midnight on July 20, 2004, personnel from Anshan City's Police Department, the Qianshan Police Department, and the Shahe Police Precinct cooperated with those from other police precincts to search two Dafa materials production sites. The total monetary loss so far is 500,000 Yuan (1). Six practitioners were arrested, including Wang Qingzhu, Zang Yuyun, Zang Yulan, Zeng Duo, Zhang Sufen, and Fang Decheng (also known as Fang Dechun). Personnel from the Shahe Police precinct arrested Wang Qingzhu.

Between July 21 and 22, officers from the Duilu Police Precinct arrested practitioner Ms. Yong Fang and a married couple (both practitioners) Ms. Han Yuqing and Mr. Zeng Qingzhong.

Policemen from the Zhanqian Police Precinct arrested the married couple, Shen Zhenlan and spouse.
Married couple Liang Li and Wang Suqing and their sisters were arrested. Officers from the Yutian Police Precinct from the Shengou Temple area are the arresting officers.
Police from the Heping Precinct arrested practitioners Chen Xiulan and Fu Jinjuan. Fu Jinjuan has escaped with the power of righteous thoughts.
Police arrested the practitioner couple Xu Jingxian and extorted 2,000 Yuan from them before releasing them on bail.
More than thirty practitioners were arrested and have been sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Details are under investigation.

7. [Suiling County, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Who Were Arrested and Tortured Are in Critical Condition

At around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, officials from Suiling County's Police Department and Police Precincts arrested five practitioners from their homes. Some of practitioners were sleeping and some were visiting friends.

These practitioners are held in a detention center with extended detention terms. They went on hunger strikes several times, and some of them were force-fed. At present, they are emaciated and in critical condition.

At about 11:00 p.m. on July 8, 2004 approximately six officers from Wadian Township's Police Precinct in the Wancheng District, Nanyang City climbed over a wall in a residential compound and broke into Ms. Wang Xiaobi's yard in Jiezhong Village. They searched her house, put handcuffs on her, and carried her into a police vehicle. Wang Xiaobi's whereabouts are currently unknown.

In mid-May, persons from Lushan District's "610 Office" in Jiujiang City arrested Dafa practitioner Mr. Cai Maobao, an employee of the 5727 Factory, and unlawfully searched his house without any warrant.

It was reported that policemen Hu Rongbang and Chen Xin from the 5727 Factory, policemen Zhang Ming, Tian Ruhong, and Luo Siyin, from the Lushan District and who have persecuted Dafa practitioners for a long time, were shamed and angry because Dafa practitioners had posted many truth-clarifying fliers exposing their crimes in the persecution of Dafa practitioners. Since they thought Cai Maobao was good at the computer, they arrested him with fabricated charges. After Cai was detained, he held a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. He was once hospitalized under surveillance because of a gastric hemorrhage. He has suffered from cruel torture during his detention. Further details are so far unknown.

After being detained at the Heizhuang Detention Center for 15 days, Dafa practitioner Ms. Gao Yuxia from Zhengzhou City was transferred to Zhengzhou City's No. 1 Detention Center, located at Nongye Road in the Jinshui District, for 30 days. The persecutors are officers from Jinshui District's Police Precinct.
