Greece: Falun Gong Attracts Media Attention in Athens

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioners have been holding continuous, large-scale activities to introduce Falun Dafa and the persecution in Athens over the last week, attracting the attention of media from all over the world that are in Athens to report on the Olympic Games.

A practitioner handed leaflets to two Chinese-speaking reporters who passed by and they accepted them with a smile. They introduced themselves as reporters from Taiwan, and said that they learned all about the persecution a long time ago. Speaking from a professional perspective, they said that they think we are doing very well by holding activities in Athens during the Olympics. They said that we were making the most of this great opportunity, when the world's media are focusing on Athens, displaying Dafa's beauty and the truth of the persecution in China.

A person who looked like a reporter from Mainland China kept on taking photos when we demonstrated the exercises. A practitioner went to speak to him and found out that he is a reporter from one of China's big official newspapers. He told this practitioner that now in China, "The officials don't even dare to mention the three syllables of Falun Gong, because Falun Gong is too powerful," yet they all know the truth about Falun Gong now. He also said that the choice to persecute Falun Gong, made by former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, was a very naive and dim-witted decision that is doomed to failure.

Just like the Taiwanese reporters said, important media from all over the world reported from different angles on the activities held by Dafa disciples during the past few days. Through their reports, there will be more people from far and wide who will know that Falun Dafa is here!
