Three Police Officers in Dawa Town Experience Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Falun Dafa
(Clearwisdom.net) Since the persecution of Falun Dafa began on July
20, 1999, a Xingshun Police Station officer surnamed Ma, Dongsheng Police
Station officer Shen Tingzhe, and Song Huadong in Dawa Town of Panjin City have
followed Jiang's regime blindly, persecuting innocent and compassionate Falun
Gong practitioners. They have ransacked practitioners' homes many times,
confiscated their Dafa books, harassed and arrested Dafa practitioners and
forced them to write a "Guarantee Letter" promising not to practice
Falun Gong anymore. They violently beat those Falun Gong practitioners that
remained steadfast and who continued practicing and clarifying the truth to
others. They sent them to detention centers and sentenced them to forced labor.
Some practitioners left their homes and became homeless or even left the area
entirely in order to avoid further persecution. Officer Ma had committed many bad deeds in his persecution of innocent
people. Shortly after July 20, 1999, he developed cancer. He eventually lost all
hope in life and committed suicide by jumping out of a building. Shen Tingzhe's leg was seriously injured by someone with a knife, making him
unable to work for a long time. Song Huadong developed diabetes and traveled all over trying to find help
from doctors. It is against the heavenly law to incarcerate good people. Those who
persecute Dafa practitioners are sure to receive karmic retribution, because it
is the law of heaven that good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoing
will meet due retribution. So, we admonish those people participating in the
persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and those monitoring and reporting
practitioners to the authorities, to awaken quickly and stop doing evil deeds.
For the sake of yourselves and your families, make up for your wrongdoing so as
to redeem your future. [Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic
retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions,
is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic
of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe
will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such
as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated
another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet
due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a
compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit
wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely
"following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held
responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of
