Greece: Falun Gong Practitioners Host a Musical Evening Entitled "Lotus Inspiration" in Athens (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On August 16, a musical evening entitled "Lotus Inspiration" was held in the Greek Dance Theatre, Dora Stratou at Filopappos Hill, The Acropolis in the city of Athens. The Acropolis Environmental Ecological Cultural and Development Society hosted it. The theme of the evening was beautiful lotus flowers, friendship and harmony. All of the songs, dances and instrumental recitals were performed by Falun Gong practitioners as an introduction to Falun Gong and the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.

Mr Ghiolman, a representative from The Acropolis Environmental Ecological Cultural and Development Society, said he was happy that so many Falun Gong practitioners had come to Athens, representing thirteen countries from around the world. Mr. Ghiolman wanted to express his warm thanks to the Falun Gong practitioners who took part in the musical event: "Nobody pays for their ticket. They go to Athens voluntarily to stand up for human beings, human civilization and humanity. Greek people will definitely support Falun Gong."
