Stories from China: Head of a Police Station Assists Falun Dafa Practitioners

In early July 2004, the head of a township police station in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province received an order to arrest a Falun Dafa practitioner who had previously talked to him and his family many times about the truth of Falun Gong. When he received the order, he said, "He is not home; there is no one to arrest." Then he notified the practitioner, and told him, "Please be careful when you go out." He thus effectively protected the practitioner.

A Party Secretary of a town in Nong'an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, said to a practitioner, "I received a letter from a Falun Gong practitioner. It was really touching. I have read it a dozen times. There is no political agenda, and the practitioner is really for the good of other people. I will join you guys and cultivate with you guys." Then he added, "From now on, if I receive any orders from higher up, I will let you guys know so you can hide your books."

A police officer named Zhang, from the Huanglong Police Station, Nong'an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, was exposed on the Internet for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, and he received many phone calls from abroad. As soon as Zhang knew that his acts had been publicized, he was very restless and could not even sleep. Whenever he saw one of his associates, he would ask, "Is your name on the Internet?" Now, Zhang says that he dares not answer the phone, and that he can only make up for his wrongdoings by studying Falun Dafa. We hope that he will correct his mistakes and treat Falun Dafa practitioners kindly.
