practitioners from around the world held anti-torture exhibitions in Boston to
expose the Jiang Zemin faction's cruel torture of Falun Gong practitioners in
China. Reporters from the Boston Herald witnessed and reported the shocking
scenes. Exposing the torture of practitioners in China Boston Herald published a report by Jessica Heslam. The article stated,
"Bound to a wooden bench with his hands tied behind his back, one man was
covered in fake blood as a ''prison guard'' held a plank of wood beneath his
neck. Nearby, a woman's wrists were tied to a wooden scaffold as a guard menaced
her with a metal pipe. Another woman sat cross-legged in a tiny cage." The report continued, "The disturbing sights on Boston Common are part
of an exhibit that depicts the brutal torture methods used by China on devotees
of Falun Dafa, or Falun Gong, a meditative and exercise technique. Followers claim more than 1,000 practitioners have been killed while
thousands of others are imprisoned and being tortured. More than 3,000 devotees
from around the world have descended on the Hub this week, hoping their message
is heard by Democrats and others." The report also interviewed Mary Byrom, a Maine woman who designed the
exhibit. She said, ''They do these methods in order to stop them from
practicing,'' An American citizen is also being tortured in China. The report stated,
"Yeong-ching Foo, 31, said her fiancé, Dr. Charles Lee, who used to
practice at Massachusetts General Hospital, has been imprisoned for the past 18
months. 'He went to China trying to expose the persecution of Falun Dafa. It's so
hard for me,' said Foo, who said her fiancé is being tortured." Posting date: 8/7/2004
