(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Guan Wenjiang was a Falun Gong practitioner in his thirties from Liaozhong County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. On August 5, 2004, he was tortured to death in Shenyang City 2^nd Prison.

On September 3, 2002, Dengta City Public Security Bureau and Changchun City Public Security Bureau in Liaoning Province abducted Guan Wenjiang. The Dengta City Court illegally sentenced Mr. Guan to thirteen years in prison. During the period while Guan Wenjiang was detained in Liaoyang Detention Center, he was subjected to torture that resulted in his ears being disfigured. Later he was sent to Shenyang City 2^nd Prison, where the torture against him continued. In the winter of 2003, Guan Wenjiang was on the verge of death. On August 5, 2004, he was tortured to death in the prison.
