(Clearwisdom.net) On August 19, 2004, the Qiaoxi Court in Xingtai City, Hebei Province held an illegal trial to sentence Falun Dafa practitioners Tang Hui, Wang Chengbiao, Li Yueran, and Gong Shuangqin for broadcasting facts about Dafa by tapping into cable TV during the Spring Festival. The courthouse was heavily guarded during the trial.

During the trial, Dafa practitioner Tang Hui shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Her steadfast belief in Dafa and awe-inspiring righteousness is what "Spirits and ghosts fear the most" (from "Mighty Virtue" in Hongyin) and is what the perpetrators of the persecution dread. Since the persecution of Falun Dafa began in 1999, Tang Hui has been illegally detained many times. In September 2001, she left a detention center after going on a hunger strike. Ms. Tang was forced to leave home and go from place to place in order to avoid further persecution. She was abducted again on the first month of the lunar year in 2004 and has been detained since.

Sources say that Dafa practitioners Wang Chengbiao from Shijiazhuang City and Tang Hui from Xingtai City were sentenced to 12-13 years of imprisonment.

The Qiaoxi Court will soon try practitioner Wang Yan from Baoding City. He has been on a hunger strike for more than 100 days and cannot stand up by himself because of all the brutal tortures he has suffered. The lawless court officials may go to the First Detention Center in Xingtai City, where Wang Yan is held, and hold a trial there.
