Force-feeding Tube Used to Torture Zhang Jianbo in Shiliping Labor Camp (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) According to a report on June 7, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Jianbo, a 30-year-old Zhejiang Provincial Industrial University graduate student, has been on a hunger strike since March 29, 2004, at the Shiliping Forced Labor Camp.

The photos below show the tube used to force feed him. When Zhang Jianbo's family went to visit him, they saw that this feeding tube to his stomach was still in place and requested that it be removed. The tube is 110 cm long. A piece of tape near the 45-55 cm mark shows that the length of tubing inserted inside a person's body is 50 cm.

In 1997 Zhang Jianbo was a graduate student at Zhejiang Provincial Industrial University. He was sentenced to four years in prison for his unwavering faith in Falun Dafa and was dismissed from the University.

On March 29, 2004, Zhang Jianbo was explaining the truth about Falun Dafa to a storeowner named Li in the Heli Village Industrial Garden of Yangxunqiao Town in Shaoxing County, Zhejiang Province. He also gave Li a VCD that shows the true situation about Falun Gong. He was reported and arrested, and went on a hunger strike to protest. On April 29, he was sentenced to two years in a labor camp. Zhang resolutely refused to give in and never signed his name to anything. Along with more than 30 male Falun Dafa practitioners, he is now detained in Shiliping Labor Camp located in Longyou County, Zhejiang Province.
