Korea: Painting Exhibition Entitled, "Steadfast and Unshakable Spirit" Held in Daegu (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) A painting exhibition entitled, "Steadfast and Unshakable Spirit" was held on September 20, 2004 in an exhibition hall on the first floor of the Daegu Community Center. Thirty-four paintings by Professor Zhang Kunlun and other Falun Gong practitioners were displayed. The paintings were also shown in the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, and Japan.

Though the exhibition displayed reproductions, they still moved viewers as much as the originals. In the opening ceremony at 2 p.m., many invited guests attended.

After the opening ceremony, during his introduction of the paintings Mr. Kwon Hong-Dae (President of the Falun Dafa Association of Korea) talked about the practitioners' steadfast and unyielding spirit in facing the persecution by Jiang and his followers in China.

Among the artists of these paintings, some had been persecuted in China and one was still in prison. Their painful suffering became the subjects of their paintings. The exhibition will be held from September 20 to 27. In addition, the paintings will be displayed in Seoul and other cities. The Seoul Painting Exhibition will be held in 63 Building, Seoul.
