Persecutors of Falun Gong Practitioners Meet With Karmic Retribution

Liu Xiaobo, 47, used to be the Party Secretary in Dengshibao Town, Faku County, Shenyang, Liaoning Province and later served as Party Secretary in Bojiagou Town prior to his death. On May 2, 2004, as he was leaving town in his official car, it ran into a tree. Two other passengers in the car were unhurt, but Liu suffered serious internal injuries and died.

In the spring of 1999, Liu was transferred from the Faku County Agricultural Department to Dengshibao Town. In 2003 he was transferred to another town (Bojiagou) and served as party secretary. During his three years in Dengshibao Town, he followed Jiang's orders closely and aided in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. He ordered and assigned town and village officials to ransack the practitioners' houses, burn their Falun Gong books and fine them. If a practitioner had no cash he would take their sewing machines or the stored corn. Many practitioners were detained for four months in the county detention center. Others were sent to Shenyang Labor Camp. After completing their terms in the county detention center, Liu would still not allow them to go home but instead locked them for another two months into a private detention center, which was specially established in the town's water conservation station. They even extorted money by asking the practitioners' family to pay for their confinement in the station. Each practitioner had to pay 20 yuan, but was fed moldy cornbread, although good corn was confiscated from the practitioner's houses. Liu sent some of the practitioners to the Shenyang Labor Camp for up to three years. On example is Chen Suyuan, a practitioner, who has been locked up in the Longshan Labor Camp. Liu is known to bring police to ransack practitioners' homes in the middle of the night.

The fact that karmic retribution has found Liu Xiaobo, once again demonstrates the principle that good is rewarded with good and evil meets evil.

Gong Jianhua, section chief of the police station in Nankou Town, Changping District, Beijing City, strictly followed Jiang's regime's directives to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. His direct orders have sent most practitioners from Nankou Town to labor camps and detention centers. He has also ordered the illegal kidnapping of practitioners to send them to brainwashing sessions. He once claimed viciously, "As long as I am here, I will hound you until you are ¡®transformed'." In July 2004, while he was on a business trip, his car became involved in an accident, which proved to be fatal for him.
