Precisely This Critical Moment Is a Great Opportunity to Clarify the Truth and Save Sentient Beings

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 25, 2001, of the Lunar Calendar (i.e. February 6, 2002), we went to a fair and had righteous thoughts all the way. We were very happy to see all the colorful Falun Dafa truth-clarifying posters on the trees and telephone poles along the road that we had put up the previous night. Other people were talking about them with understanding and sympathy as well. Nobody had been sent to peel them off.

However, on our way back, we saw that the posters along the road were all gone. We also heard that the person in charge of the Falun Gong "issue" in our town had gone to the practitioners' homes in every village to investigate.

In the afternoon, a few practitioners and I went to my sister's home to make truth-clarifying posters. We slacked off on the issue of security because the police had already come to check during the morning. So we thought that they would not come again and didn't close the courtyard door tightly; we only closed the door of our room tightly. Suddenly we heard knocking on our door and felt quite uneasy. But instantly we regained composure and started to send forth righteous thoughts. In the meantime, we put away our stuff at once.

Practitioner C went to open the door. Four big men rushed in and wanted to uncover the quilt on the kang [heated brick bed] immediately. We continued to send forth righteous thoughts. Practitioner B stood on the kang and stepped on the edge of the quilt quietly. I sat on a corner of the quilt and said, "I will not interfere with your work but you must show your search warrant, because according to the Constitution, you cannot illegally infringe upon citizens' residences in the People's Republic of China. An illegal search of a citizen's house is prohibited." One short and fat guy replied, "OK. You wait here." He then tried to call the city "610 Office." No one answered his call because it was a Sunday.

The fat guy asked me where I was from and wanted me to show my ID. I told him that this was my second elder sister's home. It was perfect legal to visit a relative. I then said, "If you don't have a search warrant, you are breaking into a private residence. As law enforcement personnel of the government, your crime is more severe. Get out." They then tried to abduct me to the police department.

I looked at them and pointed at the four of them, "Who dares to touch me?" They were dumbstruck. When we put away our books, we had forgotten one copy of Essentials for Further Advancement on the table. One thin guy opened the book and skimmed through it for 2 -3 minutes. Practitioner D sent forth strong righteous thoughts and asked for help from Teacher. In the end, the thin guy said nothing and put the book back. Practitioner B stood still sending forth righteous thoughts with his feet on the edge of the quilt. The short fat guy came close to the kang and wanted to uncover the quilt. He also demanded that practitioner B get off from the kang. But B said, "This is my home. It's up to me how I stay here." The fat guy said, "We saw you hiding something before we came in." B answered, "They are posters for the Chinese New Year." The four men said nothing and walked out of the courtyard crestfallen. I followed them closely and said, "My sister didn't break any laws. You arrested her at will. Are there any laws?"

When we arrived on the street, more and more people gathered to watch us. I thought that this was exactly a great opportunity to clarify the truth to them and expose the evil. So I said seriously to the four men, "My sister has been detained for over 10 months. There was no evidence for her 'crime' and you didn't show any arrest warrant either. You broke the law as a law enforcement officer and forced her to write a 'Guarantee Statement' promising to give up Falun Gong. You even extorted 3000 yuan for her release. Her family is poor and doesn't have that much money. Yet you did not release her!"

The four men got into their car disgraced. At that time, practitioner C and her mother stood in front of their car and C said to them calmly, "What's wrong in learning Falun Dafa and cultivating oneself according to the principles of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance'? We want to be good people. We don't extort money even when we were knocked down by another person's car. Is it illegal to be a good person? You don't arrest those who cheat, steal and abduct others but only law-abiding people..." At this time, more and more people gathered around the place. C's husband came out to watch as well. He didn't know what had happened and pulled us apart. The four men used the opportunity to flee.

After this incident, several of us had a discussion about it: We must expose the crimes of the evil and clarify the truth to the public. Only through truth clarification can people be saved.
