Canadian Lawyer Suing Jiang Passes Message to Practitioners in New York City

(Clearwisdom.net) A Toronto lawyer is helping practitioners to launch a legal case against Jiang Zemin and his followers on a pro bono basis. I told her that many practitioners are in New York City to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution. She asked me to pass on the following message to those practitioners in New York City and elsewhere.

The original letter:

You thank me and I appreciate it, because I am trying to do something positive about a horrid situation.

The real thanks are due to you and all the practitioners who go to such lengths to find justice.

I admire and respect all of you and your unbelievable courage in the face of such evil acts, and after having read and partly rewritten (for the purposes of the statement of claim) all the stories of what people went through and continue to endure, I have found myself captured again by a simple truth which you seem to live:

Compassion, tolerance, honesty and love are truly the greatest gifts we can have and we can share.

In practicing law in a general context of thwarted justice and, more important, thwarted joy and peace, which seems to be the mainstream of the world, I am constantly uplifted and pushed to carry on by people such as yourself and the many who have dared to launch this lawsuit -- not for personal gain, but for some semblance of that which is so rare to most of us: serenity for ourselves and those we love. For serenity only comes in doing the next right thing.

Thank you all for continuing to do what you do. I truly believe in who you are and what you are doing.
