(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, Wang Peiyi and Wu Shiwang, the director and deputy-director of the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province, were arrested. The charges were "abuse of authority" and "illegal detention." The reason for their arrest was related to their long-standing persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.

Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp was known by Jiang's regime as a "reformation base" and awarded a "first class merit." In addition, because Wang Peiyi had brutally persecuted practitioners for a long time, he was personally invited to meet with Li Lanqing [head of the national 610 Office] and was given high praise for what he did. The chief of the Men's Division No. 5 Yang Zeming, who works under Wang and brutally persecuted practitioners, was also highly praised by Jiang's regime.

After Wang Peiyi was arrested, the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp and even the legal system of Hebei Province became panic-stricken. Their actions of persecuting practitioners were restrained as a result. Political instructors Jin Guoping, Song Weizhong, deputy-sheriff Li Zhanguo, and others, have been summoned by the local law-enforcement departments several times. The reason was related to Wang Peiyi's arrest. As a result, Yang Zeming became afraid and attempted to save himself. After Wang Peiyi was arrested, he has disappeared without a trace.
