Ms. Liang Xiuzhen from Chifeng City, Inner-Mongolia Autonomous District Died As a Result of Torture in 2002

(Clear wisdom.net) Ms. Liang Xiuzhen was a Falun Dafa practitioner from the Gongnong Team, Hongshan Region, Chifeng City, Inner-Mongolia Autonomous District. She was 50 years old. She was arrested by Chifeng City and State Security Police in May, 2001, while clarifying the truth to people. Police officers Bu Ren and others used electric batons to shock her repeatedly for an entire night, severely damaging her both mentally and physically. She died in March 2002.

Ms. Liang Xiuzhen lived in the 6^th Team, Gongnong Village, Liuxi Street, Hongshan Region, Chifeng City. Previously she had suffered with a uterine tumor before cultivating Falun Dafa. She also was severely near-sighted. After she started to cultivate Falun Dafa in 1998, her sickness was eliminated, and she no longer needed her glasses to correct her near-sighted condition. She was arrested by Chifeng City and State Security Police in May, 2001, while clarifying the truth to people in the area. Police officer Bu Ren and another policeman tortured her brutally with electric shock batons for an entire night, severely damaging her mind and body. Police forced her family to pay a three thousand yuan fine before releasing her. Her family only had two thousand yuan and had to promise to pay the other one thousand later. Liang Xiuzhen was very sick after she returned home. The Village Administration harassed her several times and tried to force her to write a letter of apology for her actions. Because of the continuing harassment and the torture she suffered, Ms. Liang died in March, 2002.
