How Tangyuan County Police Department in Heilongjiang Province Tortured Practitioners (Reenactment Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The following photos show how police officers with the Tangyuan County Police Department in Heilongjiang Province brutally tortured Falun Gong practitioners. These replicated scenes are based on the victims' descriptions.

Case 1:

At midnight on August 29, 2001, the police arrested me while I was out distributing Dafa materials. During the arrest, a policeman shot at me four times, but I was not injured. At the county police department, they tortured me brutally to try to force me to tell them the source of the truth clarification materials. Police officer Zhou Tiegang forced me to get into and hold a position where I bent down 180 degrees, stretched my arms out behind me parallel to the ground, and pointed my hips up -- they called this "riding an airplane."

Later police officer Xu Qing whipped my fingers with a metal cable wrapped in plastic. My fingers were all bruised, and my nails turned black. Since I refused to tell them the source of the Dafa materials, they illegally sentenced me to two years in a labor camp. On November 21, 2001, they sent me to Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp without notifying my family.

Case 2:

I am disabled with the aftereffects of poliomyelitis. I also suffered from athlete's foot, hemorrhoids, and periodontal problems. After practicing Falun Gong, my health problems all disappeared, and I could walk much better. On October 10, 2001, as I was walking down the street, police officer Zhou Tiegang from the county police department followed me and illegally searched me. He found my Dafa materials and took me to the police department for interrogation. Policeman Feng Hongwei kicked me to the floor and then forced me to get up. After midnight, Zhou Tiegang and Xu Qing interrogated me, during which time Xu Qing slapped my face and pulled my hair. Zhou Tiegang did not say anything but struck my face so hard that I lost consciousness from the blow.

Case 3:

While I was at home, a policeman and driver came to my house. They started searching my home without a warrant. They found some Dafa banners, so they called for more police, who found Dafa books and tapes. They took me to the detention center and tried to force me to tell them "who the organizer is." I refused to answer, so they started torturing me. They forced me to stand with my legs split as far as they could go, and my head bend down with my hands on the back of my head. They whipped me with leather belts for more than an hour until they were dripping with sweat. After jailing me for 37 days, the police sent me to Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp.

Case 4:

At 2:00 a.m. on January 31, 2002, Tangyuan County policeman Xu Qing tried to strangle me with a scarf and also hit me about the eyes and temples. I collapsed to the ground when he let me go. My eyes were in such pain that I could hardly breathe.

That afternoon I was sent to the county detention center. The pain in my eyes and head was terrible, and for a few seconds I lost my sight. Later I was sent to Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp, where I was forced to do slave labor such as picking beans and making cushions. My eyes were still painful. Sometimes the pain was so bad that I could not even open my eyes to walk. I lost sleep at night and suffered headaches and high blood pressure. My hair turned white from the torture and slave labor. I temporarily lost my eyesight twice, once for more than ten minutes.

Case 5:

On the afternoon of February 6, 2002, at Tangyuan County Detention Center, six or seven policemen and criminal inmates pushed me down to the ground to force-feed me. They tried to pry my mouth open with pliers but did not succeed, so they inserted a tube through my nose to force-feed me.

In April 2002, I went to Hegang City by bus. On the way the police stopped the bus and forced all the passengers to curse Falun Gong. Since I refused to curse Falun Gong, they found out I was a practitioner, so they sent me back to the Tangyuan County Police Department. Policeman Zhou Tiegang led the police to search my home, where they found some Dafa books and materials. That night they took me to Hegang City's Gongnong District Police Department. I was tortured in an office on the second floor. They wanted me to tell them the source of the Dafa materials. One policeman whipped my fingers with a pair of handcuffs while another stepped on my ankles and ground them with leather boots.

Case 6:

In April 2002 at Tangyuan County Detention Center, police tried to force me to curse Master, but I refused. They poured salt into my mouth and they forced me to keep it there. They brutally beat me if any salt leaked out.
