New York Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in "Three Kings Day Parade" in Manhattan (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 6 2005, Falun Gong practitioners' waist drum team participated in the Manhattan Uptown "Three Kings Day Parade" in the Spanish Community. The parade was to commemorate the three wise kings who foresaw the birth of Jesus and went to worship him.

The day before the parade, the weather turned cold and rained all day. Fortunately, on the parade day, it was only drizzling, and the practitioners joined the parade as scheduled.

The red banner with golden characters "Falun Dafa is Good" led the Falun Gong procession. Waist Drum players in gold exercise suits performed, accompanied by the song "Falun Dafa is Good". Behind the waist drum team came the Falun Gong exercises demonstration. The last part was a banner reading, "Falun Dafa, Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance".

Among the parading groups, Falun Gong was bright and orderly. The spectators liked the Falun Gong procession very much and they waved their hands and smiled, especially the children. Many people took the truth-clarification materials. A Spanish Newspaper reporter invited the practitioners to join their next parade.

The practitioners were also very happy. "The children smiled so brightly when they saw us. I was holding the banner in the lead. When I turned my head back, I saw other practitioners demonstrating the exercises. I felt very proud," said Jenny, a western practitioner.

Practitioners are approaching the Manhattan community in various ways to let people know the beauty of Falun Dafa.
