(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yu Xiuying from Chengde City, Hebei Province Died During the Persecution
Ms. Yu Xiuying is fifty years old and an employee of the Zhuzhuang Branch of the Xinglong Coal Mine located in Chengde City, Hebei Province. She once was in the late stages of breast cancer, which went into remission after cultivating Falun Dafa. Because she refused to give up her faith in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, she was arrested and detained twice, went through a brainwashing class, and was fined three thousand yuan. After returning home, she was constantly harassed by lawless officials, and her home was frequently ransacked. The cancer that had been in remission came back. She died on November 2, 2004.
Ms. Liang Guirong from Suining City, Sichuan Province Tortured to Death in 2002
Ms. Liang Guirong is thirty-six years old, and a resident of the Eighth Commune, Eighteenth Village, Fenshui Town, Anju District, Suining City, Sichuan Province. She began cultivating Falun Dafa in 1998. She went to Beijing to validate the Fa during the 2000 Spring Festival and was arrested in Tiananmen Square. She was picked up by local police on February 2, 2000, fined 5,000 yuan, and detained in Wujiawan Detention Center. She was arrested again on August 3, 2000. She was tortured in the Lingquansi Detention Center for six months, and then transferred to the Wujiawan Detention Center, which notified her family to pick her up when she was tortured beyond recognition. Her entire body was swollen, and she could not take care of herself. She died on May 13, 2002.
