Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Qu County, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tang Guanjie, 62, lived alone in an apartment inside an Oil Mill Compound on Quguang Road, Qu County, Sichuan Province. The 610 Office and the Qu County National Security Department repeatedly arrested her. In November 2004, they again took her from her home.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Yuru, a resident of Chengnan Township, Qu County and Ms. Miao Qiong, a resident of Chengbei Township of Qu County, have died from persecution.

Mr. Fan Lin from Qu County worked in the supply and marketing Department of Qinglong village, Qu County. The authorities illegally sent him to jail because he would not give up his belief in Falun Dafa. The 610 Office and Qu County National Security repeatedly harassed and threatened him after his release. To avoid further persecution, he has become homeless and destitute.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Deng Hai lives in Qinglong Village, Qu County. Because she was determined to keep practicing Falun Dafa and because she believed in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," she went to Beijing to appeal to the higher authorities and to tell them, "Falun Dafa is good." The authorities sent her to a detention center, where she was beaten so badly she became paralyzed.

Because of his firm determination to keep practicing Falun Dafa, Mr. Wang Hongwei from Qu County was sent to a forced labor camp several times. In Xinhua Labor Camp of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, prisoners who were incited by guard Fu Weidong stuffed toxic chemicals down his throat, beat him and put a steel helmet on his head. They also knocked out his teeth. In Pi County Detention Center, they intentionally broke his ribs because he refused to give up his belief.

The persecution information here is not as specific as we would like, though we spared no efforts in getting the details. Many other Falun Dafa practitioners have been fined, harassed and threatened so much that they were forced to leave their homes and become destitute. We could not get enough detailed information from them to expose the persecutors to the public; therefore, the authorities here continue to persecute Dafa disciples and poison the minds of the people.
