Ms. Li Haiyan from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous District Has Died from Persecution; Her Mother Was Tortured to Death in 2002

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Li Haiyan was a Falun Dafa practitioner from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous District. Because she was a determined Falun Dafa practitioner who clarified the truth to people, she was arrested and tortured several times. She contracted tuberculosis during her incarceration. She was released on medical parole in September 2004, and she died at 4 AM on January 13, 2005.

Ms. Li Haiyan was 30 years old, and a Falun Dafa practitioner from Dayangshu Town, Elunchun Autonomous Flag, Inner-Mongolia Autonomous District. In November 2000, she was tortured by police from Dayangshu Town, and contracted pleural tuberculosis. She was released in June, 2001 after being extorted nearly 10 thousand yuan. She quickly recovered at home, and all symptoms disappeared.

On May 19, 2002, a Falun Dafa material production center in Dageqi City, Heilongjiang Province was raided and destroyed by police. Ms. Li was arrested there, and was sentenced to thirteen years in the Harbin Women's Prison. She was inhumanly tortured there, and contracted pulmonary tuberculosis. She was released on medical parole on September 2, 2004, and died at 4 AM on January 13, 2005. By 9 AM of the same day, policewoman Zhang Xiling and the neighborhood administration chair hurriedly took her body to be cremated. Four Falun Dafa practitioners were present.

Ms. Li Haiyan's mother, Yu Xiulan was in her sixties, and was also a Falun Dafa practitioner from the same city. She was tortured to death on December 22, 2002, because she practiced Falun Dafa.
