Practitioners Jia Zhenjie, Zhang Bingli and Zhang Wenping from Shenze County, Hebei Province, Were Tortured to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Jia Zhenjie, about forty years old, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Xiaobao Village, Shenze County, Hebei Province. He was illegally detained several times. In 2001, Mr. Jia was abducted from his home by the police. He was severely beaten numerous times while detained in the Shenze County Detention Center. Jia Zhenjie was ordered to pay a fine of 6,000 yuan, before being released. Around July 20, 2002, police arrested him at home and detained him in the Baizhuang Township Police Station for two days. He passed away soon after that.

Ms. Zhang Bingli, in her 50's, was a Dafa practitioner from Gu Village in Shenze County. In 2000, she was arrested at home, imprisoned and tortured in the Jiaotong Service Center in Shenze County. She was released on December 29 and passed away on January 6, 2001.

Ms. Zhang Wenping, in her 50's, was a Dafa practitioner from Xiaochen Village in Shenze County. She was unlawfully detained several times. The police tortured her and blackmailed her. She was detained at the Jiaotong Service Center from the end of 2000 until April 2001. Ms. Zhang passed away at the end of 2001.

On the evening of December 30, 2000, public security and government personnel from Shenze County arrested more than 80 practitioners. They were taken to Jiaotong Service Center to undergo brainwashing. Practitioners were locked up all day long. Seven to eight practitioners shared a single bed. Practitioner Ms. Caikun was found reading a Dafa article, and was severely beaten upon the order of Jia Yiqian, Deputy Chief of the Public Security Bureau. Jia ordered more than a dozen police to beat her for more than an hour with sticks and planks. They didn't stop even when the sticks and planks broke.
