Follow the Path of Fa-Rectification and Do the "The three things" Well

(Clearwisdom.net) I learned Falun Dafa in 1995. Now, I'd like to share and communicate with all fellow practitioners about three things: studying the Fa, sending forth-righteous thoughts, and clarifying the truth.

I obtained the Fa when I was a college student. At that time I pursued reading books and studying the Fa. From reading, transcribing and reciting the Fa, I gradually realized the might and glory of the Fa. My personal improvement was also very fast in the beginning. Studying the Fa and practicing kept me really busy. At that time, my third eye was already open. I could see beautiful things in other spaces, like Falun surrounded by gorgeous rings of light. My master consciousness could leave my body and so on. But in the aspect of promoting Dafa, I often decided whether I would teach someone to study the Fa and practice based on my personal appraisal of that person. If they were good, it was as if I had discovered a buried treasure, and I would share my experience and understanding of the Fa with him. Now, it looks like this was a gap in my understanding, showing selfishness.

After graduation, I slowed down in studying the Fa and practicing because there was not an environment for it in my workplace. I no longer felt that I was boldly and vigorously forging ahead. On July 20, 1999, the evil persecution began. The overall atmosphere was unusually tense at that time but nobody talked about it. When I saw the 'propaganda slandering Dafa, I secretly scooped it up and tore it to pieces. If I witnessed a discussion that was disrespectful to Dafa, I would shift the topic. At that time I was only suppressing the attacks passively. I did not take the initiative to tell people about my experience or happiness after studying and practicing Falun Dafa. At the end of 2000, I was transferred to a new company in a remote place. The work was very busy and the situation was difficult. I had a tough time obtaining Teacher's new scriptures. My practice and Fa study lagged and though I admitted to myself that I was still a Dafa practitioner, I no longer felt confident that I could reach consummation. I did not know what the future would hold for me. I felt stuck, bitter and sad in my heart.

Later on, I resigned from that job and returned to the city of my original work place. My new job was relatively easy and the situation quite good. Incidentally a colleague told me the name of the dynamic DNS website, allowing me to access sites overseas. After I entered it, I saw www.minghui.ca and I was very excited. I saw Master's scriptures on-line. My heart was bright immediately, and I profoundly realized my own wrong understandings, that, because of my attachments, caused me to "enlighten" along an evil path. I stepped back onto the road that leads to my original true self. I doubly treasured the opportunity and with great determination, read Master's new scriptures again and again. I balanced the relationship between my personal cultivation and Fa-rectification well and my behavior gradually returned to the great way of Fa-rectification.

Passing through this period, I realized that Dafa is fundamental. If there was no Fa, and we could not study the Fa, then the consequences would be extremely fearful. I hope my experience can warn those fellow practitioners who cannot study the Fa well. Treasure the Dafa and the opportunity to practice; in an eternity the chance will not come again!

At first, because I could not see or feel things happening in other spaces, I did not realize the function of righteous thoughts. Through unceasingly studying the Fa, I came to better understand the enormous power of sending forth-righteous thoughts, the significant mission Dafa entrusts to us and all living beings' expectations. Thus, I send forth righteous thoughts at least during the four fixed daily times, and every hour whenever possible. Finally, the more I trust in Dafa and Master, the more I feel their merciful strength, and the more I can firmly keep my righteous thoughts. My body's energy field became very strong.

Because my work location often changed and I paid attention to safety while clarifying the truth, I left no loopholes for the old forces and the evil to exploit. I usually pay attention to sending forth righteous thoughts repeatedly. When I discover even a tiny incorrect thought, I promptly treat it with righteous thoughts. For example, when reading the column "People's Hearts Determine their Future" on Clearwisdom.net one day, I came across a story about persecutors getting retribution for their sins. I then felt happy that bad people were punished. Promptly, I treated this idea with righteous thoughts, and reminded myself not to become over-zealous. I knew that I had become over-zealous because I did not remember the Fa's dignity. There is a principle in the universe that "good is rewarded and evil meets with retribution." Dafa has already given the biggest mercy to sentient beings, but it also has strict standards. As long as people can correctly understand this basic standard of Dafa, Dafa will give them a chance to be saved. On the other hand, if we indulge in feeling sorry for the wrongdoers and criticize ourselves for not saving them, this would mean that we do not approve of the new universe's principles. Thus this wrong thinking could suppress our divine side. Certainly we must also realize that we should clarify the truth at a deeper level and try to save more beings in the future.

I feel Dafa is the fresh air everyone must breathe. If we are short of it, we will suffocate and die. I want everyone to breathe the fresh air.

I clarified the truth according to my situation. During truth-clarification, I found that if I did not take the initiative, the convenient conditions arranged for me to validate the Fa were lost.

During truth-clarification, people come to understand Dafa, like a chain-reaction. After learning the truth, one person tells his family members, then some authorities and his colleagues as well. The truth he tells verifies what some of his colleagues have heard and allows them to accept the truth. In a training session, one practitioner ingeniously clarified the truth to his students as a lecturer. Another person received truth-clarification many times. He went from indifference and avoidance to caring. He then signed a petition against the persecution on the Internet, thus affirming his belief in the nobility and the tenacity demonstrated by Falun Dafa practitioners. Another person felt shocked by the persecution of Dafa and pondered the essence of this persecution from his innermost heart.

There are many ways to clarify the truth. Besides clarifying the truth face to face, I have established a small materials site. I have designed materials, glued materials together, printed them, mailed them, sent text messages, burned CDs, written letters, and distributed the materials. When choosing the truth-clarifying materials' content, I try to choose the best and most comprehensive. From my personal experience, I deeply understand the value of breaking through the Internet blockade to visit Dafa websites and other overseas websites, so I frequently send out or post online software to break through the blockade, or the web addresses of proxy servers. Despite all these methods, I always feel that it is still far from achieving the widespread and comprehensive goal of reaching all people with the truth. Dafa has bestowed us with wisdom and supernatural powers. Thus we are always finding new ways to clarify the truth. However, we must treat opportunities with righteous thoughts and unceasingly break through ourselves. If it is advantageous to Fa-rectification, we must take action on our own initiative.

I once helped a fellow practitioner. We studied the Fa together, but he still did not step forward. When he criticized himself with disappointment, I encouraged him and did not let him fall into this trap that would create a barrier in his thoughts. I told him the preciousness of this chance, and encouraged him to start bit by bit. I stressed the importance of studying the Fa by sharing my experience. This fellow practitioner has now had a big change.

Finally, let us encourage each other in our endeavors with fellow practitioners with words from Master's lecture, "In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human."

"I don't want to leave behind even one single Dafa disciple, but you have got to improve yourselves through real Fa-study and cultivation! With validating the Fa, you should save the world's people and do well the three things Dafa disciples are supposed to do. Be diligent! Cast aside your human attachments. Godhood isn't far away."
