An Elderly Beggar Encounters Falun Dafa

This is a true story that happened in Pingdu City, Shandong Province.

There is an elderly man named Wan En, with no children or family, who lives in Cuijia Village, Wanjia Township, Pingdu City. He is able to stay in a room owned by the village because he has headaches and pains in his legs, but he lives as a beggar.

One day Wan En met a lady, a Falun Dafa practitioner who goes by the name of True Lotus. True Lotus told him about Falun Dafa. Wan believed. True Lotus told him to recite, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Wan nodded that he would do it.

Many days passed. One day Wan ran into True Lotus and cried, "Look! Look!" As he talked, he flexed his legs and jumped high into the air. He shouted: "Falun Dafa is good! Bring Jiang Zemin to justice all around the world!" True Lotus was overjoyed. This elderly man, who had previously been awaiting death, had now become like a young person again. It was a miracle!

The old man gladly talked about what happened to him and asked for a copy of Zhuan Falun to read. True Lotus felt embarrassed, because in China the brutal persecution of Falun Gong is still going on, so it's really hard to get a copy of Zhuan Falun. When True Lotus goes out, she frequently meets with the elderly man and he keeps asking for a copy of Zhuan Falun.

Wan En finally got a copy of Zhuan Falun. He knelt down on both of his knees, holding Zhuan Falun in his hands and said loudly while looking up at the sky: "Thank you Teacher! Thank you Falun Dafa practitioners!"
