Practitioner Zhang Buyuan from Jilin City Violently Force-Fed (Reenactment Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In April 2001, when Zhang Buyuan and a fellow practitioner transferred Falun Gong truth clarification materials to Changchun City, the taxi driver reported them to the police and they were detained at Changchun City's Tiebei Detention Center. Zhang Buyuan staged a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was violently forced-fed. Several female criminal inmates held down her hands and feet, pinched her nose, placed a toothbrush between her teeth, and another inmate pressed her knee on Zhang Buyuan's chest. Zhang Buyuan was thus forced-fed a mixture of steamed bun crumb or corn flour with large amounts of salt and soup. (Please see picture 1)

On January 18, 2001, Zhang Buyuan traveled to Beijing and unfurled a Falun Gong banner on Tiananmen Square. She shouted loudly, "Falun Dafa is great!" Two security guards took her to a police van and sent her to Qianmen Police Station and later transferred her to Fengtai District's Xuanwu Detention Center. She was violently force-fed during her hunger strike. (Please see picture 2) Two male criminals held down her shoulder while she was forced to squat against the wall. A prison doctor inserted a tube through her nose. The tube was inserted into her trachea and she fainted (Please see picture 3). Two male criminals dragged her by the legs and threw her aside. When she woke up, they continued force-feeding her by inserting a tube into her nose. The tube was covered with blood when it was pulled out.
