(Clearwisdom.net) On the 11^th and 12^th of August 2005, in coordinated raids, police from the 610 Office of Junan County and the police stations of Dadian Town, Yanbin Town, Zhendong, Town, and Zhenxi Town of Liyi City, Shandong Province, searched, harassed, and monitored scores of practitioners in the area. Many practitioners were arrested. It is believed that these raids were a part of a systematic "red terror" action on the part of the Communist Party directed against practitioners before the upcoming tourism ceremony on August 13 in Dadian Town, Junan County. Apparently their goal was to prevent practitioners from clarifying the truth to the tourists and other visitors to the region.

On August 11, agents from the Junan County 610 Office and the Dadian Town Police Station went to the house of practitioner Mr. Wang Xianxue to "illegally arrest" him. Because Mr. Wang was working out of town and his wife was not home, the police broke down the door and entered the home unlawfully. They then proceeded to ransack the residence, confiscating Falun Dafa books and other articles.

On August 12, the same police went to the house of another practitioner, Mr. Li Baoshan, in Goudong Village, Pengjiashi. When Mr. Li returned from work, he found his home ransacked and the police waiting to arrest him. Now, his father, who is 82 years old and only recently recovered from an illness, and his seven-year-old daughter are left at home on their own. Mr. Li's wife, Qian Jinhua, also a practitioner, was subjected to persecution for many years. To avoid harassment and arrest, she has lived a homeless life for more than two years.

On the same day, this same group of 610 Office agents and local police officers went to the house of practitioner Mr. Wang Houling in Juguanzhuang Village. Mr. Wang was earlier sentenced to three years in prison for clarifying the truth and is still serving the term. His wife, Cui Jianai, took care of their two daughters, who are 10 and 17 years old, and her husband's parents. Their life was not easy. After arriving at the home, the police arrested Ms. Cui Jianai, ransacked the home, confiscated Falun Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials, as well as a small cassette player. Ms. Cui's motorcycle was also impounded. Now, her 10-year-old daughter is left at home alone.

Other practitioners whose homes were ransacked by the agents from the 610 Office of Junan County and the local police station include Ji Xingshu and Ji Xingcai from Yanbin Town in the south of Dadian, Ji Xingzhen from Xi Village, and Yanbinji, who was later released. Several practitioners in the county seat of Junan County were also harassed and monitored. Practitioners from Xiaodian Town, which is close to Dadian Town of Junan County, were also harassed by the local 610 Office and police. Practitioner Wang Changyi's Falun Dafa books were confiscated.

It has been learned that practitioner Peng Xiuzhan was unlawfully sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp for two years, Ji Xingshu was illegally sentenced to one year, Mr. Li Baoshan was sentenced to six months, and Ms. Cui Jianai to two years. We don't know the details of Ji Xingcai's current situation.
