A Falun Dafa practitioner was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong at a relative's home when he met a local police officer. The practitioner shared with the police officer about how many Falun Dafa books have been taken away and destroyed during the persecution, and how now many practitioners do not have enough books. He then asked the police officer if there were any Dafa books taken from practitioners in his police station. Having heard the facts about Falun Gong, the policeman replied, "Yes," and handed over dozens of Dafa books he found at the police station to the practitioner, promising that he would treat Dafa and practitioners well in the future.
"Trying to Make up for My Wrongdoings by Spreading This Around"
One afternoon, I was sitting on a bench in the park sending forth righteous thoughts. A man about my age came over to me and greeted me. I said hello as well. He then told me that he received a letter from an anonymous Falun Dafa practitioner. He said that he and each and every one of his family members read it and were moved to tears by the kindness shown in the letter. He said that he wanted to tell everybody about it to make up for the wrongdoings he had committed.
I asked him, "How old are you? What wrongdoings did you commit?"
He said, "I just retired, but I was still working when the persecution of Falun Gong started. I was being loyal to my superiors and was trying to do a good job. I just followed their orders and abused Falun Gong practitioners, force-feeding them. I am so ashamed of myself. In spite of what I have done, they do not resent me. They sent me this letter to save me and my family. They are truly kind-hearted people. I treated them so badly, and they still try to stop us from losing our virtue and tell us that good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil. They also told us that Mr. Li Hongzhi is here to save all people and to teach people to be truthful, compassionate and tolerant. I have heard these things before, but because of my own self-interest, I still abused practitioners against my conscience. I am retired now and have left that evil place. I just want to tell people that I am guilty and not to persecute Falun Gong because they are good people. They talk to everybody about the truth of Falun Gong because they don't want us to commit crimes and lose our lives. This is for our own good. Have you realized that?"
My Niece's Wish
After watching a film about Falun Gong, my 11-year-old niece said to me, "Falun Dafa is so good. I want to go abroad to practice Falun Gong. I wouldn't come back until the ban is lifted in China."
