After Hearing the Truth, an American Government Official Says, "Now I Know How to Help You!"

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioners in Manhattan should use their voices to clarify the truth. American people have a sense of justice. Talking about the relationship between the persecution of Falun Gong and the U.S. Government, and explaining how the Chinese Communist Party regime uses cheap labor to rake in international capital and then utilizes the money to persecute Falun Gong and trample on human rights, is very effective. It helps many people understand why Falun Gong practitioners continue to have a strong public presence on the streets of Manhattan.

A government official was waiting for a bus in front of a Falun Gong truth exhibition booth. A practitioner passed a truth clarifying brochure to him but the official shook his head. However the practitioner did not walk away. He stayed and explained to the official about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China, how the Chinese Communist Party controls the world market, and how it uses the market to coerce some governments who support human rights to ignore the abuses in China. After hearing these words, the official suddenly said, "I understand! I finally understand! I have seen you guys here for a long time. I've been wondering why there was nobody to help you? Now I understand! Now I know how to help you!" He asked for all the materials and looked very excited.

Recently in Manhattan more and more people have taken the initiative to stop by in front of the truth exhibition booths. People's hearts seem to be waking up. The practitioners who distribute materials said, "These days, people really seem to be grabbing the materials." It is unfortunate that there are so few English-speaking practitioners. Practitioners manning the sites hope practitioners who speak English will come to help whenever they have time, even if it's only for one hour. When people really understand why Dafa practitioners persist in Manhattan, they support us with action. Clarifying the truth needs to be taken to mainstream society, mobilizing any available power.

A senior American reporter at first did not understand why Falun Dafa practitioners pass out materials on the street. He asked, "What's the use of doing this?" When he heard that, in the past six years, practitioners have been clarifying the truth to different country's governments and to the United Nations, and that the Chinese Communist Party uses market economics to coerce each government to ignore human rights, he said excitedly, "I understand now that you've explained it to me. It is not enough to distribute materials on the street. You must use the media. Let the media appeal for you. I want to use my media relationships to help you. I want to produce a film for you."

While clarifying the truth to government officials, the media, and to the employers and employees in Manhattan office buildings, we need to explain to them face to face and highlight the key points. Sometimes only a few words can make them understand. When they are determined to help us, we see that the power of person to person interaction is great. They will be the transmitters of our voice in American mainstream society.
