Taiwan: Practitioners Participate in Hsin Chu Sport Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 22 and 23, Hsin Chu County Government held Hsin Chu 2005 Sport Festival. Falun Gong was recommended to participate as a health-improving practice, and was warmly welcomed to participate in the event. The Department of Education invited practitioners to demonstrate the five sets exercises and to entertain the crowd with a traditional Chinese waist-drum performance.

Near one hundred practitioners wearing traditional bright yellow exercise outfits demonstrated the exercises. Photos of Master Li teaching the Fa worldwide and the exercise instruction video were shown on two large screens in the sport field. The waist-drum troupe opened the performance and was warmly welcomed. The audience applauded loudly and demanded an encore. Many in audience asked for more information about Falun Gong.

Ms. Cai, a coordinator for the event, introduced Falun Gong and exposed the persecution of Falun Gong in China. She called on governments, international human rights organizations, and members of the public to offer assistance to Falun Gong and help stop the inhumane persecution.
