By a practitioner in Spain

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 13, practitioners from many European countries gathered in Madrid to conduct peaceful appeals, calling for an end to the persecution.

Compassionate call: "Hu Jintao: the time that Heaven and the people have given you is limited"

During Chinese President Hu's state visit to Spain, Madrid suddenly became very cold. Furthermore, the typically dry weather turned gloomy and rainy with occasional heavy rain. However, despite the bad weather, practitioners patiently waited outside locations where the Chinese delegation was to be present in order to let Hu and other Chinese officials know: "Falun Dafa is good!" "Hu Jintao: the time that Heaven and the people have given you is limited!" Practitioners also displayed banners which read, "Bring the criminals, Jiang Zemin, Luo Guan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkan [the four chief culprits of the persecution] to Justice," "Bring the Unlawful Police and Thugs to Justice," and "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong."

At noontime on November 13, practitioners were waiting at both sides of a plaza outside the hotel where Hu was to stay during his visit. About half an hour before Hu's arrival, more than 100 Chinese people suddenly came out from a nearby park. It was said that these people were organized by the Chinese Embassy to welcome Hu, but in fact, they were organized to sabotage the practitioners' appeal. They squeezed in front of the practitioners' group and used Chinese national flags to block the practitioners' banners. With compassion, the practitioners clarified the truth to them and told them not to interfere. While some of the Chinese lowered their heads without saying a word, others sneered or even cursed at the practitioners. Regardless of their responses, the practitioners maintained a compassionate heart and continued to clarify the truth to these Chinese people deceived by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

When Hu and his motorcade arrived, with compassionate hearts, both Chinese and Western practitioners shouted aloud their heartfelt message: "Falun Dafa is good! Hu Jintao: the time that Heaven and the people have given you is limited! Stop the persecution of Falun Gong..." When Hu's motorcade passed by, now and then people in the cars waved towards the practitioners and some also turned around to read the practitioners' banners. In the meantime, the noise made by the "welcome group" was totally submerged by the practitioners' compassionate voice.

When Hu's delegation arrived, members of the organized "welcome group" persisted in trying to squeeze to the front to cover the practitioners' banners, defying the arrangement of the police authority. Consequently, they were driven away to the nearby park. Later, some members of this group argued emotionally with the police, their rage and harsh language casting a clear contrast to Falun Gong's exceptionally peaceful demeanor.

When leaving the site, the "welcome group" passed by the practitioners' group. The practitioners started to sing the songs, "Coming for You" and "Falun Dafa is Good": "Precious Chinese, please listen to my heartfelt voice, Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good! See the truth behind the lies..." The atmosphere suddenly changed and it became very quiet. Apparently, many of them were touched by the compassionate voice and the sincere lyrics. With tears in their eyes, the practitioners continued: "Coming from far away, again and again, I came for you, I came for loving you. Precious Chinese people, did you know that the whole world is saying, 'Falun Dafa is good, Falun Dafa Hao!'" The practitioners sang this song again and again, and some of the Chinese people had tears in their eyes and even the police on duty were moved to tears though they didn't understand Chinese.

During the three days, Dafa practitioners continuously waited in the cold and rain outside Hu's Jintao's hotel and other venues where Hu was to visit. At every location that Hu visited, practitioners compassionately called on him to awaken his conscience. At every location, there were practitioners displaying, "Falun Dafa is good" banners. Hu Jintao saw the message and heard the message. When Hu was just getting into his limousine at City Hall, a Western practitioner approached the vehicle to display a "Falun Dafa, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" banner. Meanwhile, he said loudly in Chinese: "Falun Dafa is good!" Having heard the voice, Hu looked back from his vehicle. He then saw the banner. In addition, when Hu's motorcade passed by the practitioners' group, everyone in the cars turned to look at them and the banners. They all heard the practitioners' compassionate, heart-felt voice.

The practitioners' peace and persistence, as well as their truth clarification, moved many people. A policeman who was on duty at Hu's hotel approached a practitioner while chanting, "Falun Dafa is good" in Chinese. The officer asked, "Did I pronounce it right?" The practitioner told him, "You did great." There was another police officer who told the practitioners, "I am on duty right now and can't learn the practice. After I get off duty and change my clothes, I will come to learn Falun Gong." When the practitioners sang "Falun Dafa is Good" in Chinese, the police officers enjoyed the song very much. One of them even earnestly learned to sing the song.

At a garden in front of Hu's hotel, after learning about the truth of Falun Dafa, a group of teenagers came up to some practitioners who were practicing the Falun Gong exercises and asked practitioners to teach them the practice. They all learned earnestly.

On November 15, outside the China-Spain Business Summit, a police office who had learned about Falun Gong and the persecution commented, "Spain is a democratic county. Any dictator or human rights ruffian is not welcome here!" Another police officer requested a copy of a Falun Gong flier and wrote down the contact information. In addition, he said that he would go to a practice site to learn the exercises. On a major street in Madrid, almost all the bustling vehicles slowed down to read the practitioners' banners.

After the appeal concluded, practitioners at all the appeal sites thanked the on-duty police officers. The police also thanked the practitioners for their cooperation and rationality as well as their peacefulness. In the end, they wished the practitioners good luck.
