(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Officials from the first factory of the Chang-an Company received karmic retribution in accordance with the laws of the universe for their persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.

Deng Changlong, head of 610 Office branch of the public security office at the first factory of the Chang-an Company, had actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. In 2000, he died from lung cancer. That same year, a traffic accident involving officials of the company occurred as they took some Dafa practitioners from the factory to the Huayunshan brainwashing center.

Ever since the persecution began in July 1999, the Chang-an Company has cruelly persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in their factories. The illegally arrested Dafa practitioners from the first factory were Deng Ruhui, Zhu Hongping, and Zhu Zhilin. Those who were illegally sentenced to forced labor included Liu Tiansu, Yu Mingfang, Yu Qunfang, Wu Huazhen, and Chen Hongxin. In addition, Yuan Qingsheng was sentenced to seven years of forced labor, and Feng Jun, Guo Zhongyi, Xiang Shihua, Xiang Dong, and Luo Piping were sentenced to ten years of forced labor. The persecution led to the death of practitioner Mo Shuijin from the second factory of the Chang-an Company.

Wu Wei, 55, is the head of the 610 Office. He sent many Dafa practitioners to forced labor camps such as the Yongchuan Labor Reformation Farm, the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp, the Maojiashan Forced Labor Camp, as well as detention centers and brainwashing centers. Wu now suffers from cancer of the liver.

Yan Xiangming, 44, is a policeman in the public security branch of the Chang-an Company and a staff member of the 610 Office. He suffers from long-term dizziness and insomnia, and has become pale and weak since he began persecuting Dafa practitioners.

Huang Qing, an official in charge of propaganda from the working union of the Chang-an Company, wrote many articles slandering Dafa, and he died of a stroke in 2002. Liu Yuanbao, another propaganda official from the working union of the company, had slandered Dafa under the name of a painting exhibition. He died of lung cancer in 2003.
