Chonqing City Policeman Liu Xuanhong Receives Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Mr. Liu Xuanhong, was born on August 13, 1978. He was employed as a policeman in Group I of the Surveillance Team of the Chongqing City Police Department. Liu was in charge of and directly participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in this region. He tortured and misled practitioners in an attempt to "transform" them. He was highly regarded by his superiors for "doing a good job" and was chosen by the city police department as an "outstanding individual" in April, 2003.

On April 13, 2004, at around 7 a.m., while driving a police car to visit the Yubei District Jail, Liu's car broke down on Highway 210 and he collided with a bus and a taxi. Both the bus and the taxi were traveling in the same direction as he was at the time. Liu was seriously injured, and rushed to the hospital. Despite the effort by the hospital to save him, Liu died at 10:40 a.m. on April 13, and became yet another scapegoat in Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong. He was only 27 years old.

Falun Dafa is the law of the Cosmos and it brings to human beings the hope for them to return to their original, true selves. Heavenly principles will always be firm. We hope those who persecute practitioners will cherish their lives and not continue to do things against their conscience.

In an article on Clearwisdom published on October 9, 2005, it states: "The CCP regime is against heaven's will, and is about to collapse. It is now having difficulty sustaining the persecution. Heaven's final judgment of these evil criminals is imminent. However, one of the purposes of the sacred FA of Falun Gong is to save people, including people in all social statuses. Even for those who have committed wrongdoings, there is still an opportunity for them to abandon the evil path and choose to be good. For all those who have committed crimes against Falun Gong but want now to correct their mistakes, they can submit, under safe circumstances, a guarantee statement or regret letter to Minghui (Clearwisdom Net) or to any regional Falun Dafa Association to be archived. We will not investigate the various crimes of those who are determined to correct their mistakes. However we will continue to monitor their actions."
