Different Thoughts of Two Fellow Practitioners Bring About Different Results

(Clearwisdom.net) When exchanging experiences with fellow practitioners, they suggested that I write down two fellow practitioners' stories. It may help some practitioners, and it is also my responsibility to the Minghui (Clearwisdom) website.

Practitioner Zou obtained the Fa ten years ago. She once was a volunteer Falun Gong exercise site assistant. Before 1999, she did a lot of things for Dafa, and she was dedicated to spreading Dafa. After the persecution of Dafa started, the police stayed at her house and stayed in a car downstairs to monitor her. She could not find any fellow practitioners, and she became confused. From then on, the police unceasingly harassed her. In 2002, she was greatly shocked when she saw that some of her fellow practitioners were arrested and sent to a forced labor camp. She found a job to keep her busy every day. The time she gave to Dafa was limited. When she saw the fellow practitioners, she said she was still practicing, but "the time spent clarifying the truth is less." This spring when I saw her, she was filled with anxiety because her husband had been made to retire early. She also said her parents who lived in countryside did not have any income and her son hadn't gotten married yet. Her human emotional ties appeared to be very strong.

In October I heard that she had a stroke and was hospitalized. After her husband lost his job in May, they went back to their hometown in the countryside. After that, it was discovered that she had breast cancer. Then suddenly she had a serious stroke. Right now she is lying in bed and cannot move. She cannot say a word clearly and cannot communicate with others. She had been taken advantage of by the evil because of her severe attachments. She still cannot give up the attachments, but still claims she is a practitioner. The result is that she holds onto godhood on one hand while she is still attached to humanness on the other. It also negatively affected Dafa.

Fellow practitioner Cheng is 78 years old this year. After the persecution began, she saw that fellow practitioners were arrested and sent to a forced labor camp. The attachment of fear controlled her. She had joined the "Communist Youth League " in her childhood. Her family background was that of a landowner, and she had graduated from a university and was an intellectual (landowners and intellectuals were most severely persecuted during the Cultural Revolution). She had even been imprisoned during the Cultural Revolution. She was persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) her whole life, and even her children were implicated. Thus, she was very afraid of the police. She stopped practicing for more than a year. During this period, she was hospitalized many times. She became very frail and began to look much older than before. She also said that she sent forth righteous thoughts, but it did not cure her illness. When she practiced the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts, she could feel something tightening in her lower back, and it caused shortness of breath.

After she exchanged experiences with fellow practitioners and read Master's recent articles, she gave up her attachments to illness. She intensively studied the Fa every day. When her daughter did not let her read, she said, "My life is given to me by Master. As long as I am alive, I will study the Fa. I will not be attached to illness anymore." Then she led her entire family to withdraw from the CCP, the Youth League and the Young Pioneers League.

I went to see her in October of this year. Her change surprised me. She looked like a completely new person. Her complexion was rosy and her eyes sparkled. Her illness is completely gone. She is no longer thin and frail. When she saw me, she did not talk about her health like before. Instead, all she was concerned with was other practitioners' matters. Just because of her firm and righteous faith in Master and Dafa, she was completely changed.

The different thoughts of two fellow practitioners brought about totally opposite results. It made me see this issue more clearly. The cultivation of Dafa is very serious. Only when we follow Master's instruction and keep righteous thoughts and righteous actions all the time, can we continue to walk on the path of cultivation. From fellow practitioners, I witnessed Dafa's miraculous and supernatural quality. What Master looks at is our heart and mind.

In the critical time of our Fa-rectification cultivation, I hope all of our practitioners can cultivate more diligently. We cannot let the old forces and dark minions use the so-called "test" to destroy Dafa disciples anymore. I hope all of us can follow Master home.
