Helping a Fellow Practitioner Step Forward to Validate the Fa

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa on December 29, 1998. I would like to share with you some of my experiences of the past several years, as I followed Teacher closely and walked the cultivation path with righteous thoughts and righteous actions.

Seven months after I started to cultivate, former president Jiang Zemin started to persecute Falun Gong. Under tremendous pressure, many fellow practitioners were afraid to step forward to validate the Fa.

In 2000, there was a fellow practitioner who had cultivated very well before the persecution started, and he was even an assistant for the local practitioners. After he experienced persecution, upon returning home, he was afraid to step forward to expose the persecution. At that time, fellow practitioners at their cultivation levels all had more or less some degree of fear. Nobody dared to get in touch with this practitioner. Nobody dared to help him. When I learned this, I thought, "What is there to be afraid of? There is nothing wrong with being a good person. Falun Dafa teaches us to be good people and to be even better people. Everyone is practicing kindness. No matter where I am, I dare to say that Falun Dafa is good."

At that time, my heart was very pure and had no fear. I felt that I must not leave our fellow practitioner behind, since we were both Teacher's disciples and we came here to assimilate to the Fa. Falun Dafa was being persecuted, Teacher was being defamed, and Falun Dafa disciples were being tortured. How could we, as Falun Dafa disciples, not step forward to validate the Fa? How could we stay home and pursue a comfortable life? I told myself that this could not continue and that I must help him to step forward to validate the Fa. As soon as I had this thought, our benevolent Teacher had already arranged everything for me. That afternoon I bumped into that fellow practitioner on my way to pick up my daughter from school, since his child was attending the same school as mine and he was also picking up his child. I made an appointment with him to meet the following day.

The next day, he came to meet with me. We shared a lot during our conversation. I learned that he had the intention to validate the Fa, but because of some obstacles at home he could not, and therefore he was feeling much anxiety and also pain. I happened to have some truth-clarification VCDs, and I took him with me to distribute them. The first time, he was a little afraid. The second time, he was less afraid. Gradually, he did much better. As soon as I would get some truth-clarification materials, I gave them to him. He did better and better. He thanked me. I told him, "Please do not thank me. Teacher has been teaching me to do this. Teacher has arranged all of this for you. If you want to thank someone, you must thank Teacher." When he heard this, he said firmly, "I will not let Teacher down. I will cultivate steadfastly." He regained the solid cultivation state that he had prior to July 20, 1999 when the persecution started. The more he clarified the truth, the better he became. He then took on some important responsibilities. On the path of validating the Fa, he was moving on a grander and more spectacular scale. Our entire region was making progress, cooperating together and elevating as a whole body. Together we were exposing the evil, negating the persecution, clarifying the truth, saving sentient beings with mighty power, and frightening the evil. This experience allowed me to enlighten to the following truth: As long as we have the heart to cultivate firmly and have righteous thoughts and righteous actions, Teacher will do everything for us and will arrange everything well for us.
