My Mother's Eye is Saved

(Clearwisdom.net) My mother is a 50-year-old woman from the countryside. In the first half of last year, her eyesight was blurred, and the doctor said it was a cataract, and that surgery would take care of it. My mother didn't think more about it and continued being busy at home.

In October of last year, her left eye suddenly became red, swollen and hurt very much. Watery liquid came out of it. It was hard for her to see. The doctor said her cornea was bad, and she needed to go to a big provincial hospital to have her eye removed. Afterwards she would need a false eye. It would cost over 10,000 Chinese dollars. My mother felt very sad about this and my father was worried about her day and night. My parents make a living from their fields. Though sometimes my father worked outside the farm a little bit, they could not afford this cost. My mother just took some antibiotics and bore the pain.

There are many Falun Dafa practitioners in my hometown. They had suggested that my mother practice Falun Dafa many times, but my mother always found some excuse and turned them down. This time she had no choice, because if she lost her eye, it would be gone forever. She would become an old woman with only one eye. My mother decided to practice Falun Dafa no matter what.

There are many practitioners in that area and the environment is very good in the village. The practitioners study the Fa together every night. One month later, the miracle happened: the redness and swelling of my mother's eye disappeared and she could see clearly.

My mother called me and told me this unexpected happy news. Now she is diligent in Fa study and in practicing the exercises. Even my father, who does not like talking very much, talks a lot now. Whoever he meets, he tells them, "Falun Dafa is great, Falun Dafa saved my family."

My mother's left eye was saved, and this has become big news in the village. In front of this rock-solid fact, any slander against Falun Dafa, including lies about self-immolation or murder, is completely dispelled. The people won't believe the propaganda of Jiang's regime any longer.

Now there are more and more new Falun Dafa practitioners in my hometown.
