Italy: Practitioners Deliver Protest Letter to Thailand Consulate (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) Starting December 9, upon the instigation of the Chinese Embassy, Thai police have repeatedly encroached upon local Falun Gong practitioners' human rights. On December 15, practitioners from the Italian Falun Dafa Association went to the Thailand Consulate in Torino to deliver a protest letter regarding the Thai police violence against innocent practitioners. The practitioners also protested outside the consulate.

The Thailand consul (an Italian) met practitioners and chatted for about 20 minutes. In the protest letter, practitioners expressed deep concern about the incident. They called on the Thai government not to yield to the CCP's pressure and act as an accomplice of CCP in the persecution.

Upon seeing practitioners protesting outside on a very cold day, a storeowner invited them inside to get warm. After chatting with practitioners, the owner and other employees all expressed their support for Falun Dafa and said that they all knew about the brutality of the CCP.

At the protest site, practitioners practiced the exercises, sent righteous thoughts and distributed truth-clarifying materials to passersby. The event was warmly received by the public.
