By a Falun Dafa Practitioner from Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) I was among a group of Taiwanese Falun Dafa practitioners who participated in a truth-clarification effort in Hong Kong. This experience had a very moving effect on me. It was there that I came to fully realize the urgency of clarifying the truth to the precious Chinese people. At the same time, I also enlightened to another extraordinary quality of Falun Dafa practitioners.

One fellow Taiwanese practitioner described our truth-clarification visit well when he exclaimed, "Look! So many sentient beings from China are just waiting to be saved!"

Another Falun Dafa practitioner from Shenyang City (Liaoning Province) made her way through crowds toward me and when she was very close, said in low voice, "I am also a Falun Dafa practitioner. In Shengyang, many people practice Falun Dafa, some of whom have been arrested." Before departure, she said, "You need to make a lot of phone calls (to mainland China). Please make lots of phone calls!"

After she had mingled back into the crowd, I caught several glimpses of her still gazing at me, as though she didn't want to leave me. I will always remember the image of that pair of eyes that would not leave sight of me. As I waved goodbye to her, she kept waving back until she finally disappeared among the crowds of people.

So whenever a tourist from Mainland China smiles at me or hurriedly passes by while softly whispering, "I know Falun Gong is good, but..." or "I understand, but..." "I dare not take your [truth-clarifying] flyer," I would kindly reply, "Have a pleasant journey." Then I would wave goodbye and they too would wave back at me.

On one occasion, I was holding up a truth-clarifying poster for the passengers on a stopped tourist bus to see. I saw many eyes gazing at the poster. A moment later, one of the bus passengers motioned to me that the bus was about to leave. I waved to him and he waved back.

Among the crowds of so many people, I just focused on distributing truth-clarifying materials. One person from mainland China seemed to be looking for something in particular as he thumbed through the truth materials that I held. When he found the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he quickly took one out and slipped it into his pocket.

I hope that fellow practitioners who have the time will lend more support to the practitioners from Hong Kong, to give them a break and also to create opportunities for saving more people from Mainland China!

Every day, the practitioners from Hong Kong have to carry hundreds of pounds of truth clarifying materials, banners and posters on hand-pushed carts. They have to cross several highways, traveling up and down hills, over bridges and maneuver them aboard escalators. They walk long distances to reach the sites where they can best clarify the truth, three hundred and sixty-five days a year without ever skipping a day, regardless of whether it is very windy or rainy.

The following is a typical day in the life of one Hong Kong Falun Dafa practitioner I met:

• 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.: She distributes newspapers containing truth-clarifying articles.
• 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: She goes to the Hongkan City Train Station, the Huangpu District and other places to clarify the truth to visitors and commuters from China.
• 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: She goes to her job, working at a noodle restaurant.
• 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.: She participates with a group in Fa-study and Falun Gong exercises.
• 11:00 to midnight: She takes a one-hour bus ride home.
• Midnight to 1:30 a.m.: She does household chores and helps take care of three children at home.

During group Fa study one Saturday evening, this Hong Kong practitioner joined us at 9:00 p.m. after getting off work from her job at the noodle restaurant, so we decided to read one more chapter of Zhuan Falun with her. We had not arrived in Hong Kong until late the night before, and it had been a long, busy day for me, so I was pretty tired. Before we had finished the chapter, I could no longer keep my eyes open. So I went to wash my face, just to wake myself up, and then came back to continue studying the Fa. Amazed at the diligence of this Hong Kong practitioner, especially after learning of her daily activity schedule, I remarked, "Falun Dafa practitioners are indeed extraordinary!"
